Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Defenders 1.1.0
New material traits
Defender materials now have more distinct identities:
- Wood: Moves at 60% speed while guarding instead of 50%.
- Stone: Perfect parries have 1.0 knockback strength instead of 0.8.
- Gold: Attacks at 2.0 speed and retains Gold's 22 enchantability.
- Iron: Remains the neutral baseline.
- Diamond: Perfect-parry Slowness and Vulnerable effects last 3 seconds instead of 2.
- Steel: Reduces sustained permitted damage by 35% instead of 30%.
- Umbrium: Uses Defiled Lands' enchantability of 20 while retaining Iron-equivalent combat stats.
These bonuses can be adjusted or disabled through the new material_traits configuration category.
New enchantments
- Added Reflexes I–III, increasing the perfect-parry window by 0.1 seconds per level.
- Added Deflection I–III:
- Adds 5% melee damage reduction per level while guarding.
- Reduces other incoming damage by 10% per level.
- Perfect parries remain available.
- Added the very rare 6th Sense I:
- Has a 10% chance to automatically parry a direct melee attack.
- All successful parries make the attacker glow for 5 seconds while equipped.
- Deflection is incompatible with Reflexes and 6th Sense.
- Removed the Fortification enchantment.
- Legacy Fortification mappings are safely ignored when loading existing worlds.

- Added master and individual configuration switches for Defender enchantments.
- Disabled Defender enchantments no longer generate or provide effects while remaining registered for world compatibility.

- Projectiles can never be perfect-parried.
- Added configurable perfect-parry sound volume.
