Farmer’s Delight Addon Fixes

An unofficial collection of compatibility patches for Farmer’s Delight addons on Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge.

Farmer’s Delight 1.3 introduced several internal changes that can cause older addons to crash during startup, fail when using custom Stoves or Cutting Boards, reference removed classes and fields, or display missing models and translations.

This mod applies external compatibility patches so affected addons can continue working without modifying their original files.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Forge
• Farmer’s Delight 1.3 or newer

All supported addons are optional. You only need to install the ones you want to use.

General compatibility fixes

These fixes may benefit multiple older Farmer’s Delight addons:

• Redirects removed Farmer’s Delight pie models to their new template model names.
• Attempts to resolve other renamed Farmer’s Delight template models.
• Supports both the old and new Farmer’s Delight tooltip translation key formats.

Addons currently patched

Alex’s Caves Delight

• Replaces obsolete ShepherdsPieBlock references with the newer generic FeastBlock.
• Supplies models that are missing or incompatible with Farmer’s Delight 1.3.

Compat Delight

• Repairs invalid feast block registration in the Born in Chaos compatibility module.
• Repairs invalid feast block registration in the Apotheosis compatibility module.

Smidgeon o’ Bliss REMASTERED

• Rebuilds incompatible block, item and creative tab registrations.
• Restores its feast blocks and cross-mod compatibility items.
• Repairs custom note block interactions.

Embers’ Delight

• Updates the Cutter Machine to use the newer Cutting Board recipe result method.
• Ensures the Cutter’s inventory is passed to recipes when rolling their outputs.

Legacy addon patches

The mod also contains compatibility patches for older versions of:

• My Nether’s Delight
• Miner’s Delight
• Dungeons Delight
• Create: Central Kitchen
• End’s Delight
• Ender’s Delight
• Jaden’s Nether Expansion Delight

Several of these addons have since received newer Minecraft 1.20.1 releases published after Farmer’s Delight 1.3. You should update the original addon first. This patch is mainly retained for modpacks that still depend on older releases.

Important notes

This is an unofficial compatibility project and is not affiliated with Farmer’s Delight or any of the addons mentioned above.

Always try the latest available version of an addon before relying on this patch. If an upstream update fully fixes its Farmer’s Delight 1.3 compatibility, the corresponding patch may no longer be necessary.

Because this mod uses external Mixins and bytecode transformations, support depends on the exact internal structure of each addon version. Please include the following when reporting an issue:

• The affected addon and its exact version.
• Your Farmer’s Delight version.
• Your Forge version.
• The complete crash report or latest.log.

Feel free to request compatibility patches for other Farmer’s Delight addons.

I can inspect the issue and determine whether it can be repaired safely through external Mixins, resource overrides or bytecode transformations.
