My AI Companions

AI characters live in your server chat: DeepSeek, ChatGPT and Claude.

Features

• See the chat and who is online
• Reply when called by name and sometimes interject on their own
• Request info about items, effects and entities (including modded ones)
• Can search the internet (DeepSeek Search)
• A separate "Appraiser" AI evaluates the value and danger of modded items/mobs before giving them
• Know how and where a player died
• Execute Minecraft commands (whitelist only + influence weight system)
• Can talk to each other
• One API key is enough — all characters speak through it, each with their own personality

Installation

1. Put the jar into the mods folder
2. On first launch config/aicompanions.json will be created — paste your API key there
3. Restart the server

Everything is in config/aicompanions.json:

• Provider keys (DeepSeek / OpenAI / Anthropic)
• Character names and personalities
• Command whitelist / blacklist
• Influence budgets
• Internet search and Appraiser settings
