MULTITEAM PRESENTS
Clay Soldiers 2 - The original, but better!
Made/revived by MultiTeam!
(Disclaimer: no art nor code were re-used in the creation of the mod, all is from scratch!)
Notice!
v0.0.1 or v0.0.2 does not contain modifiers nor mounts yet! only the soldiers with basic AI and the remote to remove them! The modifiers will come in the next version (v0.0.3) which is heavily under development! The mounts and the nexus will be coming after that (v0.0.4)!
Loader:
MultiTeam is more on the side of forge, so sorry fabric pals, try again next time.
The mod requires 2 libraries to run, MultiCoreLib (0.2.3.0 or higher) and Geckolib (3.0.3 or higher)!
Minecraft 1.18.1 - Forge 39.0.7

Showcase:
v0.0.2
Only fixes an issue on server side. Dedicated servers crashed with v0.0.1 due to the soldier entity not registering correctly.
v0.0.1
I'm wondering,
will v0.1.0 have an update that if you drop a specific item it picks/consumes it?
like the original mod.
1.18.2?
Hi, I like what you're doing here! Keep up the fantastic work!
fabric?

This is a great mod, I have been having a lot of fun with making war scenario type things, I have a question though. How would I summon a specific type of Clay Soldier in a command block? Is there a nbt tag I could add to summon (for example) a red clay soldier?
In reply to thedooper33:
If i recall, theres an nbt tag called "Material" which is an integer (aka whole number), but i'll correct myself once i can test this out if it is even possible to do so. Also, you could look what tags a soldier has with the entity data command
the original was and is my favourite mod ever. so glad its being reimagined. this is awesome
Can we get a version for 1.18.2?
This is one of my favorite mods to date.
In reply to asmirkingspy:
It does work in 1.18.2
In reply to PersonWhoLovesCats:
I figured it wouldn't because it's 1.18.1 and most of the mods I've tried for 1.18.1 crash at startup for me.
In reply to asmirkingspy:
Understandable. When I got the most recent version of 1.18.2 forge it worked just fine though.
In reply to asmirkingspy:
1.18.2 is planned to be supported with v0.0.3;
usually sub-versions of a major version can run on other sub versions, but there were a lot of changes in 1.18.2 and hell knows why
Is there a possible estimate to when the modifiers come out?
In reply to hehateme1661:
i usually dont publish estimations, since there are a lot of stuff in my life, sometimes nothing happens and i have all the time in the world, but sometimes im busy as heck. its unpredictable, and because of that i wont estimate, cuz if i cant deliver in time i'll disappoint people; like, if i were to delay one or two days thats fine, but sometimes random stuff happens and what if it gets delayed 2 whole months.... but i 'd really like to release v0.0.3 before summer (not an estimation or anything, just a wish or something)
In reply to LazTheArtist:
Thank you for the reply man I really appreciate it. Good luck with this project!
It's a good start, but I hope that someday in the future the soldiers can be upgraded with items like in the past... although unlike the past there are more items now, and more possibilities for upgrades too. I hope you try to make this like the previous mod, although I also hope you add more to it for more variety and more fun.
