Description
Mountables 2 is a data-driven mod that allows you to load GeckoLib models using a ResourcePack!
Mountables 2 requires both a datapack for registration as well as a resourcepack on the client. The datapack contains the registration information as well as some tweakable abilities. The resourcepack includes the model, the animations, the texture as well as optional sounds and optional emissive textures.
To ride a Mountable in game, you'll need a Mountable item, crafted using a Mountable Core and Mysterious Fragments, acquired by exploring the most tough of dungeons. The Core is crafted using tripwire, leather and iron ingots. After using the Mountable item, you may configure it using the Command Chip, crafted with a redstone torch and more fragments. The chip allows you to open a screen to tweak the movement modes of the Mountable, change the model or texture if possible, as well as modify the non riding movement of the vehicle. The Mount can follow you, stay in place, or wander around.
It is worth nothing that Mountables 2 does not wish to expose the ability to modify the AI of mounts or make custom mobs at all. If you wish to do something entirely custom, then we suggest you make a custom mod, and you have all control over what's going on. Thanks!
