0.2.0 — Assembly Stand
Build your own machine
New block: the Assembly Stand. Build a machine part by part, in order: frame, swingarm,
engine, exhaust, fork, wheels, handlebars, bodywork, seat.
Creative only for now: the stand and the parts come to survival in an upcoming update.
A ghost of the next part floats above the stand: green when you hold the right one, red when
you hold the wrong one.
Right-click to fit a part; crouch with an empty hand to take the last one off. The finished
machine waits on the stand until you pick it up.
The stand's screen lets you choose the machine, names the part it expects and shows the whole
build at a glance.
Breaking the stand gives back every fitted part.
Nine machines can be assembled: Motorcycle, Scooter 2, Quad Bike, Dirt Bike, Dirt Bike II,
Adventure Bike, Adventure Bike II, Police Motorcycle and Police Motorcycle II — 87 parts in all.
Dashboard
While riding, the inventory key opens the dashboard. Crouching still gets you off.
Nine storage slots in the dashboard to carry your things. Shift-click sends fuel to the tank
and everything else to the storage.
A destroyed machine now drops its storage and its jerrycan instead of losing them.
0.1.0 — First release
Requires NeoForge 1.21.1. No other dependencies.
Ten machines
Motorcycle, Scooter 2, Pizza Scooter, Quad Bike, Dirt Bike, Dirt Bike II, Adventure Bike,
Adventure Bike II, Police Motorcycle, Police Motorcycle II.
Each one is a real mesh with its own scale, seat height, wheel radius and hub positions — measured
from the model rather than guessed, so no wheel spins without gripping and none skates.
Riding
Mount with a click and steer where you look. Crouch-click opens the dashboard, from beside the
machine or from the saddle.
A gearbox you can hear. One to six ratios depending on the machine; the engine climbs through
a ratio and drops back when it shifts. A scooter has a single continuous ratio and never drops —
which is exactly why a scooter must not sound like a motorcycle.
The charged jump does the work of a throttle. Hold the jump key and the bar fills: leisure
bikes spend it on a wheelie, service bikes on a burst of acceleration. Machines that do neither
don't show the bar at all.
Riders lean into corners.
Police bikes carry a lightbar, switched from the dashboard.
Engine, fuel, sound
Ignition on the dashboard. A fuel slot takes a jerrycan or a lava bucket and empties it
into the tank as the engine runs.
Jerrycans hold one full tank and stack.
Two sound layers per engine — idle and load — mixed by revs rather than one recording stretched
thin, plus a one-shot starter. Several machines share a recording at different pitches: a service
bike is a 450 pitched down.
Finding one
There are no crafting recipes. Machines turn up in the world:
Village house chests: one of the eight civilian machines, 12% of the time; jerrycans, 34%.
Pillager outposts: one of the two police bikes, 20% of the time. Stolen, presumably.
Notes
Models are creepy for the moment I know I worked out mostly on mechanics, and im working on future mods thats making it playing in survival
No trademarks or sponsor decals on any bodywork — nine were removed from one livery before it was
ported.
