modregfixer-1.0.0+26.1
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Release v1.0.0
The first release of ModRegFixer. It lets you join vanilla, Paper, Folia and Velocity servers with content mods like Biomes O' Plenty still installed. You no longer need a second instance or have to move jars around.
Features:
- Fixes the
Missing element ResourceKey[...]crash when you join a server that doesn't have your content mods - Filters each item component on its own and only for the current connection. Everything else on the item, and all your client-side mods, keep working
- Singleplayer and modded servers that have your mods are completely unaffected
- Client-only: servers don't need to install anything
- Supports Minecraft 26.3, 26.2 and 26.1.x (one jar per version)
/modregfixershows what was filtered on the current server and which mod it came from/modregfixer reportwrites a full report tolatest.log/modregfixer debug on/offturns on verbose logging on every join- Config file at
config/modregfixer.properties(enabled,debug,hideUnsupportedCreativeItems) - Hides creative-menu items the server can't know about on non-Fabric servers
Limitations:
- Modded items (BOP's, for example) can't become usable on a vanilla server; the server simply doesn't have them.
- A mod that defines item properties outside the standard Minecraft/Fabric methods can't be filtered. It gets the clear report instead of a fix.
- This fixes the join crash only. A mod that genuinely needs a server-side counterpart for gameplay still needs it.
Requirements:
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5+
- Fabric API
