This update brings major improvements to legacy mod compatibility, gameplay interactions, developer APIs, and Thaumcraft 4 support.

Gameplay and Compatibility Fixes

Improved compatibility with modern Minecraft entities, blocks, and items.

Fixed multiple issues with legacy machine and workstation interactions.

Improved item right-click, item usage, and block interaction behavior.

Fixed several issues involving Thaumcraft crucibles and wand interactions.

Improved legacy armor support, including equipment effects and rendering.

Thaumcraft 4 Improvements

Fixed research progression and prerequisite unlock updates in the Thaumonomicon.

Fixed wand Vis charging from aura nodes and synchronization with the player's held wand.

Improved wand focus selection, equipping, removal, and control handling.

Expanded experimental support for the Outer Lands dimension, including legacy generation and dimension travel integration.

Legacy Keybinding Support

Added a generic keybinding bridge for original Forge 1.7.10 mods.

Original mod keybindings can now be registered in modern Minecraft's Controls settings.

Added support for key rebinding, held-key states, key press events, and legacy keycode conversion.

Improved translation support for original mod keybinding names.

Updated Thaumcraft wand controls to use original registered keybindings.

Developer API Improvements

Added APIs for accessing representations of modern items, blocks, and entities in the legacy runtime.

Added scoped legacy player access for compatible integrations.

Added APIs for supplementing and overriding legacy translations.

Added MfclApi.legacyResource() to access resources from locally installed original legacy mods.

Important Notes

MFCL is still experimental. Not all Forge 1.7.10 mods or features are fully supported.

Some advanced Thaumcraft 4 features, including complete infusion workflows, entity behavior, and dimension gameplay, still require further testing.

Original Minecraft 1.7.10 mods and their dependencies must be obtained and installed separately.

MFCL does not redistribute original Thaumcraft 4 files or other third-party mod assets.
