Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.2.5
> Note for Players:
> - Mod Menu Integration: To use the new in-game configuration UI, it is highly recommended to install Mod Menu. Since Mod Menu is no longer available on CurseForge, please download it from Modrinth (https://modrinth.com/mod/modmenu).
> - Configuration Access: If you have Mod Menu installed, the default hotkey Ctrl + K will be disabled to prevent conflicts. Please open the settings via the "Configure" button in the Mod Menu list. If you do not have Mod Menu installed, you can still use Ctrl + K to open the config panel.
Added
- Local Ollama Support: Native
/api/chatsupport for fully offline play using any local LLM model (no API key required). - Comprehensive Village Protection: Villagers now protect both Livestock (cows, sheep, pigs, chickens) and Village Pets (cats, wolves, parrots). They will confront you if you lure them away or leash them.
- Nitwit & Baby Personas: Added unique dialogue styles for specific mobs. Nitwits speak in a simple, sometimes silly manner, while Baby Mobs use child-like, emotional language and look up to "big people."
- Village Granary: Villagers automatically place "Granary Chests" to store excess crops, featuring a custom loot table (
village_granary). - Fire & Lava Panic: Villagers detect fire/lava within 32 blocks and will run toward the player screaming for help.
- Iron Golem Guards: Golems now investigate vandalism and theft, defending the village against repeat offenders.
- Village Whispering: Two nearby villagers will now occasionally whisper background fragments about the player (e.g., "...that guy again...") based on your friendship level.
- Structure Guards: Monsters now actively protect loot in Dungeons, Temples, and Nether structures.
- Player Skin Recognition: Mobs detect player skin models (Alex/Steve) and address you as Male or Female accordingly.
- Grudge System: Mobs now remember crimes (theft, assault, vandalism) for 20 minutes, affecting trade prices and aggression.
- Farming Interactions: Farmers thank players for planting crops or using bone meal, but react angrily to crop flooding or trampling.
Changed
- Conversation Memory: Memory capacity doubled to 40 messages for better long-term context retention.
- English Localization: All internal loggers and system messages have been fully translated to English.
- Hay Bale Logic: Improved placement rules to ensure hay bales never block chests or spawn in the middle of crop fields.
- Job Block Recognition: Crafting tables are now recognized as workstations; villagers will react to players using them.
- Luring Reactions: Expanded livestock luring detection to include rabbits, camels, donkeys, and mules.
Fixed
- Version Compatibility: Fixed profession and structure detection issues for Minecraft 1.20.6+.
- Player Property Exclusion: Villagers no longer scold players for breaking blocks or trampling crops that the player placed themselves.
- Trade Pricing: Fixed friendship-based price scaling and Wandering Trader bargaining logic.
- Container Access: Fixed hay pillars being built on top of chests, which previously blocked access.
- Leash Detection: Fixed unleash reactions and restricted prompts to mobs that can actually be leashed in vanilla.
