Mobile Networks: IoT Addon — 1.1.0

Storage and Crafting

  • Added crafting requests for quantities from 1 to 4,096 items, with material checks and clear error messages. Failed requests do not partially consume materials.
  • Updated storage controls:
    • Left-click: withdraw available items; open the crafting request window when a craftable item is out of stock.
    • Ctrl + left-click: always open a crafting request.
    • Right-click: withdraw half the available stack.
  • Added JEI recipe transfer to the Storage Hub using ingredients stored in the network.
  • Crafting recipes now remain selected and automatically refill their ingredients, including returned containers.
  • Shift-clicking the crafting result produces up to 64 output items per action.
  • Fixed item duplication caused by removing ingredients while an outdated crafting result remained available.
  • Storage sorting preferences now persist between sessions.
  • Added the Storage Terminal, providing direct access to a connected Storage Hub without a phone or screwdriver.
  • Expanded JEI integration across configuration screens, including drag-and-drop ghost filters for Importers and Exporters.
  • Expanded Importer and Exporter support for vanilla inventories, including lecterns and the connected owner’s Ender Chest.

Drones and Rescue

  • Added a player-controlled Drone with creative-flight controls, a 1×1×1-block body, moving light, signal HUD and automatic disconnection when coverage is lost.
  • Added a configurable exit key, defaulting to G, to return control to the player.
  • Added Collect Drone to local screwdriver screens for the Drone, Rescuer and Body Guard. Collection preserves cargo and removes the device from the registry. This button is unavailable through the phone.
  • Added the Rescuer, supporting emergency requests under S.O.S. coverage and transporting its owner back to its installation home.
  • Rescue missions now save their destination and continue after losing signal, including the return journey with a passenger.
  • Added rescue destination, current position and distance information, updated once per second on the screen and HUD.
  • Improved Rescuer navigation over fences, walls and closed gates, accounting for passenger clearance and replanning around new obstacles.
  • Removed the Rescuer’s water-volume restriction while retaining lava avoidance.
  • Made Rescuer actions five times faster, preserving collision checks during movement and drilling.
  • Rescuers now appear first in the IoT Devices app, regardless of their name or state.
  • Added the Body Guard, orbiting four blocks above and one block beside its owner. It seeks routes and firing positions against hostile targets while staying within ten blocks of the owner.

Machines and Automation

  • Added immediate inventory deposit controls to the Miner and Miner Central. Miners resume their previous work after depositing.
  • Fixed Miner Central phone controls for starting, pausing, depositing and returning home.
  • Added live Miner Central status and worker progress information.
  • Updated Miner Central selection to a 4×4 grid, with 16 miners per page and support for 32 miners across two pages.
  • Improved mining order to prioritize nearby targets and sections while preserving complete area coverage and saved progress.
  • Farmers now visit their deposit chest only when carrying items.
  • Farmers without supplies wait near their supply chest while monitoring both incoming resources and mature crops.
  • Renamed Animal Caretaker to Animal Rancher, preserving existing devices.
  • Added Rancher population management, surplus adult culling, drop collection and delivery to a configured chest. Young animals are preserved.
  • Updated Farmer and Rancher models and added flying navigation with wider detours, without breaking obstacles to create paths.

Fixes and Reliability

  • Added persistent chunk loading for moving machines, cameras and Miner Central, including while idle and after reopening a world.
  • Fixed false removal and unloaded-area states affecting existing miners.
  • Added recovery for missing miners, preserving their identity, inventory and progress while respecting occupied or protected home positions.
  • Devices removed by the player now disappear from the device list and are not recreated by recovery.
  • Fixed interference from keyboard shortcuts while editing addon text fields.
  • Corrected the Multitool recipe to require one netherite shovel.
  • Fixed simultaneous TV feeds so each TV maintains independent images and updates.
  • Added automatic diagnostics throughout the addon, covering errors, rejected operations and inconsistent states without commands or manual activation. Logs are stored in logs/iot-debug.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft: 1.21.1
  • NeoForge: 21.1.238+
  • Java: 21
  • MobileNetworks: 4.0.2
