Config Changes
Can now customize which item tames which mob, including configurable required health, taming chance, and whether the item is consumed (e.g., use rotten flesh to tame zombies). When configured, the mod's default taming items will not work on those mobs.
Can now customize rideable mobs.
Can now configure mob teleportation types: Aquatic, Terrestrial, Amphibious. Aquatic: allows teleportation into water. Terrestrial: allows teleportation onto land. Amphibious: allows teleportation into both water and land. If not configured, the teleport type is determined by whether the mob is a water mob.
Removed the slime respawn rule config. Slime respawn is now determined by the slime that was tamed (e.g., if you tame a medium slime, its offspring will not respawn; similarly, if you tame a large slime, the medium slimes it splits into will not respawn).
Can now configure whether to disable the respawn function.
Can configure whether to enable the crafting recipe for Mixed Grains or the crafting recipe for Inexhaustible Golden Stew.
Can now customize follow distance and teleport distance.
Can now configure whether snowballs will ignite targets when passing through fire like in Bedrock Edition.
Added a config for whether tamed mobs drop items when respawn is enabled.
Reset config positions, now categorized by function.
Art and Name Changes
All item icons and names have been reset to feel more like items existing in Minecraft, rather than a strange brainwashing mod stack.
Mob Controller -> Inexhaustible Golden Stew
Heart Contract -> Dark Stew
Control Command -> Beast Tamer's Whistle
Armor Editing Blueprint -> Armor Blueprint
To maintain compatibility with older versions, item registry names have not been changed, only localization names.
Function Changes
Added compatibility with the mod "Pet Connect", allowing Pet Connect to contain mobs controlled by this mod.
Added compatibility with Twilight Forest: when the drop option is disabled, tamed Twilight Forest bosses will not spawn chests.
Added compatibility with Alex's Mobs: tamed tusklin can be ridden.
Added compatibility with Aether: when mobs fall into the Aether void, they will teleport back to the Overworld.
Added compatibility with Cataclysm: tamed Cataclysm bosses will not spawn blocks when respawn is enabled, and will recover to their first phase after respawning.
Added Aggressive Mode and Protective Mode. Protective Mode behaves the same as the old tamed behavior. Aggressive Mode makes mobs actively attack nearby hostile mobs (hostile list same as iron golems).
Tamed mobs no longer disappear in Peaceful mode.
Added the ability to wax water-sensitive mobs to protect them from water damage. Additionally, phantoms can be waxed to prevent burning in daylight.
Removed the dedicated new entities for witches and pillagers, changed to modifying the behavior of vanilla witches and pillagers (function unchanged).
Added status display in Jade.
Modified respawn message display: now shows the cause of death when respawning.
Vexes summoned by evokers are also tamed, but these vexes do not regenerate health and do not respawn.
Dark Stew and Inexhaustible Golden Stew can now be drunk. Inexhaustible Golden Stew is not consumed when drunk. Dark Stew applies Darkness, Blindness, Nausea, Slowness, and Poison when drunk.
Tamed raiders are now directly removed from raids and will not rejoin.
Beast Tamer's Whistle now makes a whistling sound when used.
Modified teleport distance calculation: no longer uses Euclidean distance (radius around player), but uses horizontal distance and vertical distance separately.
Taming a rider no longer tames the mount along with it.
Teleporting a rider now teleports its mount instead of the rider itself.
Switching modes now plays a sound (configurable in config).
Tamed wandering traders no longer disappear, and their trades restock infinitely (can be disabled in config).
Added an achievement system with five achievements triggered by the player.
Blue ice can now be used to prevent snow golems from taking damage in hot biomes. Using a brush to interact removes this effect.
Honeycomb can now be used on water-sensitive mobs to grant immunity to water damage (except damage from water bottles), or on phantoms to grant immunity to sunlight burning.
Tamed snow golem snowballs can now knock back players. Configurable to make all snow golem snowballs (including untamed) knock back players, or even all snowballs (including those thrown by players) knock back players.
Item Changes
Added Creative Mode Controller: ignores health limits and taming chance to directly tame a mob (still affected by strong mob limits, pet limits, and blacklists).
Added item "Mixed Grains": functions the same as Inexhaustible Golden Stew, but is consumed when used.
Added item "War Horn": switches between Aggressive Mode and Protective Mode. Left-click switches to Aggressive Mode, right-click switches to Protective Mode. Hold shift while clicking to switch the mode of all tamed mobs within 32 blocks. Batch changes produce a horn sound.
Added item "Cavalry Flute": makes a controlled mob or your pet ride another controlled mob, your pet, or a horse. Right-click dismounts the rider.
Added item "Legion Banner": puts the player or pets into Legion Mode. Mobs under Legion Mode of different teams attack each other.
Bug Fixes

Fixed controlled wardens not attacking other wardens.
