Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Miami-DADE Metrorail — 1.0.0
Initial release
Bring the atmosphere of Miami-Dade Metrorail to your Minecraft builds with station signs, tropical murals, platform finishes, and configurable station furniture.
Miami-DADE Metrorail is the first mod in the Transit Signs Mod series to introduce Dynamic Signs: place a sign, open its image selector, and choose the station graphic you want without replacing the block.
What's included
- 72 decorative blocks across the Murals and Tiles Creative tabs.
- Three complete murals, each built from 12 individual panels.
- 36 building and finishing blocks, including terracotta, ceramic tiles, terrazzo, concrete, stone, and stucco.
- Yellow platform edges, ribbed guidance tiles, and tactile paving for station detailing.
- Two Dynamic Sign families: Station Sign and Platform Sign, with 46 graphic variants across their libraries.
- Info Bench, a decorative station furniture assembly with independently configurable surfaces and a library of 26 images in the Station Map and Advertisement categories.
- SHIFT tooltips on applicable blocks, including placement instructions for mural panels and directional finishes.
How to build the murals
Choose one of these three designs from the Murals Creative tab:
- Biscayne Mangrove Dawn
- Flamingo Garden at Dusk
- Tropical Connections
Each design uses 12 panels arranged in a rectangle 4 blocks wide and 3 blocks high.
Reading the panel names
Each panel is labeled with a row and column, such as R1 C1:
- R1 is the top row, R2 the middle row, and R3 the bottom row.
- C1 is the leftmost column and C4 the rightmost column when viewing the finished mural from the front.
Arrange the panels like this:
LEFT → RIGHT
TOP R1 C1 | R1 C2 | R1 C3 | R1 C4
MIDDLE R2 C1 | R2 C2 | R2 C3 | R2 C4
BOTTOM R3 C1 | R3 C2 | R3 C3 | R3 C4
Assembly steps
- Prepare a flat display area 4 blocks wide and 3 blocks high.
- Select all 12 panels belonging to the same mural design.
- Place the bottom row first: R3 C1 through R3 C4, from left to right.
- Add the middle row: R2 C1 through R2 C4.
- Finish with the top row: R1 C1 through R1 C4.
- Keep every panel facing the same direction, with its artwork facing the viewer.
Tip: Hold SHIFT while hovering over a panel in your inventory to read its position instructions. If the image does not line up, check the design name, row, column, and orientation of the misplaced panel.
How to use Dynamic Signs
Dynamic Signs let you change the graphic displayed on a placed sign through an in-game image selector.
- Open the Signs Creative tab.
- Choose Station Sign or Platform Sign, depending on the style you want.
- Place the sign, leaving enough free space for its full width.
- Hold the Dynamic Sign Studio Configurator item.
- Right-click the placed sign to open the image selector.
- Browse the available category and select the station graphic you want.
- To change it later, use the configurator on the same sign again.
Available station graphics include destinations such as Palmetto, Hialeah, Government Center, Brickell, University, Dadeland South, and Miami International Airport.
The configurator is required to open the selector. Simply right-clicking with an ordinary item does not open the Dynamic Signs interface.
Using Info Bench
Place Info Bench with enough free space for the entire assembly. Use the Info Bench Configurator on its interactive surfaces to configure the available graphics.
Its image library includes Station Map and Advertisement categories. Configurable surfaces can be set independently, allowing different graphics within the same assembly.
