Updated 3D Item Models
Essence Codex — Brand-New 3D Model
The Essence Codex now features a completely redesigned custom Blockbench model, giving your mob collection book a unique and more polished appearance!
Curator's Magnifying Glass — Replaces the Spyglass
The old Curator's Spyglass has been replaced with a brand-new custom 3D Magnifying Glass! The zoom feature has been removed, turning it into a dedicated inspection tool for checking displayed mobs and items from up to 64 blocks away.
Flat Display Case (2×1×2)
A brand-new display size for wider mobs!
Vertical Display Case (1×2×1)
A tall, narrow display case designed for taller mobs!
DisplayCraft now features 5 different Mob Display Cases.
Cases. Smarter Mob Sizing
Mobs are assigned their most suitable Display Case based on their model dimensions. Models are automatically scaled to fit inside the glass. Improved Trophy Pedestal
Choose how your items are displayed:
- Right-click: Item floats without rotating.
- Shift + Right-click: Item rests directly on the pedestal.
Items now face the player for a cleaner presentation.
Improvements & Changes
Updated Mob Animations
Attack animations have been removed for better compatibility. Vanilla mobs retain idle animations, while modded mobs use a stable, static pose with smooth display rotation. Improved Essence Codex
Enhanced mob previews and variant information, with better integration between the Codex and Display Cases. Expanded Modded Mob Support
Improved model-size detection and compatibility handling. Mobs from missing mods remain safely stored as placeholders. Improved Display Placement
Updated multiblock handling and case-size restrictions to better match each mob's dimensions.
