DisplayCraft turns mob hunting into a collection you can proudly show off! Every mob you kill is automatically recorded in your personal Essence Codex, allowing you to showcase your discoveries as rotating 3D miniatures inside beautiful glass display cases.

No inventory clutter. No spawn eggs. Just collect, display, and admire!

How Does It Work?

Craft an Essence Codex and keep it in your inventory. Whenever you kill a mob, it is automatically added to your collection.

Right-click your Codex to browse your collected creatures and select the one you want to display. Then, simply right-click a compatible Display Case to bring your miniature to life!

Essence Codex — Your Personal Mob Collection

The Essence Codex is the heart of DisplayCraft. It automatically records every mob you defeat, including how many times you've defeated each species.

Explore your collection through a beautiful interactive interface featuring animated 3D mob previews, scrollable collection cards, and a large detailed preview of your selected creature.

Each entry includes the mob's name, its origin mod, and the minimum Display Case size required.

Your Codex belongs to whoever carries it, so collections aren't shared between players.

Mob Display Cases — Bring Your Collection to Life

Showcase your favorite creatures inside stunning, transparent glass cases! Each display features a slowly rotating 3D miniature using the mob's original model, complete with idle and attack animations whenever supported.

Choose from three sizes:

• Small Display Case (1×1×1) — Perfect for smaller creatures.

• Medium Display Case (2×1×1) — Ideal for regular-sized mobs.

• Large Display Case (2×2×2) — Designed for massive creatures and legendary bosses like the Warden and Ender Dragon.

Modular & Stackable: Combine different case sizes to build beautiful collection walls, impressive trophy rooms, or entire mob museums!

Easy to Move: Breaking a filled Display Case preserves its mob inside, allowing you to relocate your collection without losing anything.

Item Display Pillars — Showcase Your Treasures

Your rarest items deserve more than sitting inside a chest! DisplayCraft introduces three decorative pedestals to showcase weapons, armor, artifacts, and collectibles.

Open Display Pillar

A classic stone pedestal featuring a floating item above its surface. Perfect for showing off weapons and valuable treasures.

Glass Display Pillar

An elegant stone pedestal with a transparent glass enclosure, keeping your favorite items beautifully presented.

Trophy Pedestal

A luxurious, low-profile plinth with a soft felt top. Perfect for displaying mob heads, decorative pots, blocks, tools, and prestigious trophies.

All three support vanilla and modded items!

Curator's Spyglass — Inspect Your Collection

The Curator's Spyglass is a craftable tool that works like a regular Minecraft spyglass, with a special feature designed for collectors.

While holding it, look at any display from up to 64 blocks away to reveal detailed information.

For displayed items, you'll see the item's tooltip, including its name and enchantments.

For displayed mobs, you'll see their name, origin mod, and minimum required Display Case size.

Without the spyglass, your screen stays clean and free of unnecessary information.

Modded Mob Compatibility

DisplayCraft is designed to support mobs from other Minecraft mods!

The Essence Codex can collect registered living entities from installed mods, allowing you to build a collection far beyond vanilla Minecraft.

Whenever possible, displayed mobs use their original 3D models and textures, automatically scaled to fit their display cases.

Compatible animated mobs can display their original idle animations, with additional attack animations where supported.

Safe Compatibility Fallback

If a modded mob's original model cannot be rendered correctly, DisplayCraft shows a question-mark placeholder with the mob's name underneath, rather than leaving the display empty.

Your collected mob remains safely stored in the Essence Codex.

Please Note: Modded mob compatibility is still being developed and has primarily been tested with vanilla Minecraft mobs. If you encounter a modded creature that doesn't display correctly, please report it so compatibility can be improved!
