This mod integrates magical attacks into the Mekanism suit. Magic isn't a big problem if you don't use mods that add it (like Cataclysm).
But if you use Cataclysm and have tried to defeat a boss using the mekasuit, you probably noticed that… the attack simply ignores the suit's protection, which completely destroys the purpose of Mekanism, from the creation of the fission reactor and polonium to the generation of antimatter.
This mod now applies magic to the Mekanism suit's protection, but at a cost. Magic consumes 150 times more energy from the suit. For example: using a mekasuit with all energy upgrades (1.3 GFE per piece), magic from a boss like the Ender Guardian will remove 4% to 5% of the energy.
Therefore, the idea of the mod is to maintain the meaning of having and progressing in Mekanism without ridiculing magic. For now, it only works with vanilla magic and Cataclysm magic.
