An independent, unofficial addon for Mekanism. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or maintained by the Mekanism team.
Mekanism: Engineering adds seven tools and machines for mining, fluid handling, rock production and factory control. Each addition is shown with its model, interface and crafting recipe. Start with the Quantum Digital Miner; the rest of the workshop follows.
Quantum Digital Miner

The centrepiece reaches a radius of up to 128 blocks and mines at 4× the standard Digital Miner's base speed with default settings. It can draw energy from a supplied Quantum Entangloporter frequency without a physical cable. QIO can receive mined items and supply replacement blocks; local storage and quantum item frequencies are available too. The Companion can relocate this miner to the next site, manually or automatically.
Digital Miner Companion

The Companion puts status, filters and controls in your hand. It also monitors and controls Mekanism's standard Digital Miner; relocation is exclusive to the Quantum Digital Miner. Remote actions respect permissions and require the miner's chunk to be loaded.
Quantum Fluid Pump

The 3 × 3 × 3 station connects to Mechanical Pipes, so the pump itself can stay beside your installation. Its pipe intake must be immersed in the liquid to start extraction. A Filter Upgrade enables heavy water; a Source Stabilizer Upgrade can preserve eligible sources, including lava, at an additional energy cost.
Petrogenic Synthesis Plant

This 5 × 5 × 4 multiblock runs eight independently configured rock-production lines. Feed it water, lava and energy, or fit Hydro Condenser and Magma Synthesizer modules to generate its fluids with energy. Its towers and production deck show fluid levels and selected products.
Petrogenic Synthesizer

The single-block counterpart uses water, lava and energy to make one selected rock at a time. Use it for a dedicated material; build the Plant when several lines need to run together.
Precision Logistical Distributor

Configure output sides and split items in equal or weighted shares, down to precise item counts. Keep a recipe's ingredients in proportion or give a busier line a larger share. The interface preview shows the current 0.5.1 Distributor model in its centre.
Precision Upgrade Controller

Scan nearby machines, set upgrade quantities per machine type and review the plan before applying it. The Controller uses a shared stock to install missing upgrades and recover excess ones, saving a trip to every upgrade slot.
Three more recipes

These three upgrade recipes complete the ten craftable addon items and blocks. Every grid follows the 0.5.1 recipe data; tagged ingredients can accept equivalents, and the image shows one valid example. The charged creative-inventory Companion is a variant of the same item: craft and charge it normally in survival. Special Mekanism recipes can also preserve stored machine data.
Interfaces are previews based on the chosen layouts, with illustrative values and operating states; they are not in-game screenshots. Machine models and item sprites come from the shipped assets.
Installation and configuration
Client and Server — install the addon and Mekanism on both. Tested with Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1.200 and Mekanism 10.7.19.85. Mekanism is required by NeoForge; this beta accepts versions from 10.7.19 up to, but not including, 10.7.20. Generators, Tools and Additions are optional. English and French translations are included.
mekanismengineering-server.toml provides 62 server settings for energy, storage, ranges, fluid rates and processing limits; it does not expose every internal constant. Crafting and rock-production recipes can be changed with datapacks. Mekanism's own settings remain in its configuration files.
Beta 0.5.1 has automated, solo and two-client LAN test coverage. A specific ATM11 version and the full range of third-party mod combinations have not been tested. Use the same addon version on both sides and back up existing worlds before changing mods.

Unofficial addon and attribution
Mekanism: Engineering is an independent community addon made out of appreciation for Mekanism. It is not an official module and is not affiliated with or endorsed by aidancbrady or the Mekanism team. Mekanism belongs to Aidan C. Brady and its contributors; their code, art and other material retain their ownership and applicable licenses. Components used or adapted under Mekanism's MIT license keep that license and notice inside the JAR. The addon's All Rights Reserved notice does not override upstream rights. Detailed credits.
Questions about attribution or permissions can be raised with the addon author in the project tracker; rights holders are welcome to get in touch so concerns can be discussed and addressed. Please send addon-specific support requests here, rather than to the Mekanism team.
