What's new

ME Cross Cable 0.1.0-alpha.1

Initial alpha for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 / Java 17. Requires AE2 15.4.10 or newer. Install the same JAR on client and server. ACO is not required.

  • Route three independent AE2 connections through one block, with configurable two-face pairings.
  • Standard, smart and dense smart variants; native 8/32-channel handling and AE2 channel settings are preserved.
  • Compact housings, raised sockets and original 16x16 textures.
  • Connected sockets display a one-pixel emissive ring matching the adjacent cable color. Disconnected sockets stay dark.
  • English/Japanese translations, recipes and a dedicated creative tab.

Validated against AE2 15.4.11: build, five unit tests, eight real AE2 GameTests and an isolated client rendering/routing check. Broader modpack and future-AE2 compatibility remain unverified.
