Mappet Reforged — Initial Release

The first release of Mappet Reforged is here!

This release brings McHorse's original Mappet to Minecraft 1.20, with extensive changes and adaptations required to make the mod work on modern Minecraft versions.

✨ Highlights

• Ported Mappet from Minecraft 1.12.2 to Minecraft 1.20
• Adapted the original systems to modern Minecraft APIs
• Ported Mappet's NPC, dialogue, quest, event and scripting systems
• Ported the Mappet dashboard and editor interfaces
• Updated rendering and internal systems for Minecraft 1.20
• Fixed numerous compatibility issues caused by differences between 1.12.2 and 1.20
• Fixed several bugs discovered during testing
• Improved general stability of the port

🧪 Testing & Fixes

Special thanks to shady1545 for extensively testing Mappet Reforged and providing feedback.

Several issues discovered during testing were fixed before this release.

⚠️ Important

This is the first release of the 1.20 port, so some differences, bugs or incomplete behavior compared to the original Mappet may still exist.

If you encounter an issue, please report it so it can be investigated and fixed in future releases.
