Manas Cosmetics

Manas Cosmetic is our own take on a cosmetics engine, built for 1.21.1. It brings 14 cosmetic slots, 16 weapon slots, auras, pets and much more. Through Architectury, the mod supports Neoforge and Fabric.

Manas Cosmetics is free to download and use, including on monetised servers. What you can't do:

  • No modification. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, edit, or repackage the mod, or distribute a modified version of it.
  • No derivative assets. The models, textures, animations, and other creative assets bundled with this mod (or any ManasMods mod) are not yours to extract, retexture, rebind, or repurpose, including turning them into pets, cosmetics, or content for other mods, servers, or projects. This applies whether you're using them as-is or as a "base" for something new.
  • No redistribution. Downloads are only distributed through our official channels (CurseForge and Modrinth). Do not re-host, mirror, or bundle the files anywhere else.
  • No selling the mod itself. Charging players for in-game cosmetics, ranks, or crates on your own server is fine. Selling or paywalling the mod, or our assets, is not.

This protection covers every mod and asset ManasMods publishes, on every platform we distribute through, not just this project. Full legal terms are in the bundled LICENSE file.

Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines

Manas Cosmetics is built to run within Mojang's Minecraft End User License Agreement and Minecraft Usage Guidelines. It's a standalone add-on that doesn't redistribute any Minecraft code or assets, and it doesn't claim affiliation with or endorsement by Mojang or Microsoft. The cosmetics it enables are strictly visual: they don't grant gameplay advantages, don't gate access to survival features, and don't affect balance, which is exactly the kind of server monetisation Mojang's guidelines permit (vanity and cosmetic items) as opposed to pay-to-win mechanics or paywalled access to play. 

Server owners are still responsible for their own compliance when selling cosmetics or ranks; we recommend reviewing Mojang's current Minecraft Usage Guidelines directly, since those terms are Mojang's to set and can change independent of anything stated here.
