Description
Manas Cosmetics
A server-authoritative cosmetics engine for your Minecraft network.
Manas Cosmetics lets your players deck themselves out in wings, auras, hats, pets, weapon skins, and more: all purely visual, all equipped from an in-game Wardrobe, while your server keeps full, tamper-proof control over who actually owns what. Built for public servers and networks that want a polished, monetisable cosmetics system without trusting the client for anything that matters.
Before you download: Manas Cosmetics ships no cosmetics out of the box. It's the engine (the Wardrobe, the ownership system, the aura/pet/weapon-skin renderer, the crates and kits), and you bring your own Blockbench (
.bbmodel) content. If you're looking for a pack of ready-made wings and hats to drop on your server, this isn't that; if you (or your artist) want a rock-solid, cheat-proof foundation to build a cosmetics economy on, read on.
Features
Cosmetic slots (14): helmet, above_head, chestplate, back, front, legs, boots, armor_set (a full-body suit, mutually exclusive with the four armor-piece slots), ears, orbit, pet, weapon, aura, ground.
Weapon skins: bind a weapon cosmetic to any of 16 weapon types: sword, longsword, katana, kodachi, spear, hammer, axe, scythe, bow, kunai, shield, grimoire, magic staff, pickaxe, gauntlet, greatsword, plus a wildcard any fallback, with tag-based detection so skins pick up modded and unlisted weapons automatically.
Blockbench-powered cosmetics: every cosmetic is a .bbmodel plus a JSON sidecar for position, scale, and rotation, with a live in-game transform editor (/manas_cosmetics edit), plus a personal editmine mode for players to fine-tune fit without affecting the shared cosmetic for everyone else.
Pets: scale up a vanilla mob or bring a fully custom .bbmodel companion. Custom pets animate from their own movement (idle, walk, run, fly, swim, plus ambient specials), can float and fly-follow their owner, and display a friendly name. Pets are invulnerable, immune to kill commands, and rebuilt from player data on login, so no orphaned entities are left behind in the world.
Auras: a procedural, particle-driven aura system with dozens of named render styles (rising motes, halo, vortex shroud, rune circle, orbiting orbs, flame, pentagram, summoning circle, and many more) across 10 particle textures, authored entirely in-game with the aura editor. Auras render correctly in first person too, with a dedicated hotkey for players who want to hide their own.
The Wardrobe: press Enter or run /manas_cosmetics wardrobe to browse and equip owned cosmetics, hide vanilla gear underneath them, and save up to 10 named presets for instant loadout switching.
Ownership and distribution:
- Cosmetic Tickets: redeemable items that unlock a bound cosmetic on right-click.
- Direct grants: instantly unlock or equip a cosmetic for a player via command.
- Kits: claim-once or cooldown bundles, claimable by operators or by specific LuckPerms ranks, comes with in-game kit builder GUIs.
- Crates: loot-box-style random unlocks opened with Crate Keys, with configurable reserved pools and slot weighting, comes with in-game crate builder GUIs.
- An
unlockalltoggle lets staff preview every cosmetic on demand without granting real ownership (also useful for private servers w friends).
Persistence you can trust: per-player data (loadout, presets, kit cooldowns, and ownership) saves immediately on any entitlement change, so a crash can't cost a player, or a paying customer, a cosmetic they already earned.

Minecraft EULA
Manas Cosmetics is built to run within Mojang's Minecraft End User License Agreement and Minecraft Usage Guidelines. It's a standalone add-on that doesn't redistribute any Minecraft code or assets, and it doesn't claim affiliation with or endorsement by Mojang or Microsoft. The cosmetics it enables are strictly visual: they don't grant gameplay advantages, don't gate access to survival features, and don't affect balance, which is exactly the kind of server monetisation Mojang's guidelines permit (vanity and cosmetic items) as opposed to pay-to-win mechanics or paywalled access to play. Server owners are still responsible for their own compliance when selling cosmetics or ranks; we recommend reviewing Mojang's current Minecraft Usage Guidelines directly, since those terms are Mojang's to set and can change independent of anything stated here.
