MalisisCore Revived
The library behind MalisisDoors Revived. MalisisCore Revived is a port of MalisisCore by Ordinastie and PaleoCrafter to modern Minecraft on NeoForge.
It adds no blocks or items of its own. Install it only when a mod asks for it, such as MalisisDoors Revived. It must be on the client and on the server.
What's inside
The original 1.12 MalisisCore was a huge framework. Vanilla and NeoForge now handle most of it, so this version keeps only what the Malisis mods need, rewritten for the modern game:
- Animations: move, rotate, scale and fade blocks smoothly, with delays, loops and chained or parallel steps. The Malisis door animations use this.
- Multiblocks: large structures made of several blocks that act as one. Shapes, interactions, breaking, ladders, sounds and particles all go through the main block. The big doors and the rusty hatch use this.
- Rendering helpers: draw block models and boxes, retexture models and apply block colors in animated blocks.
- OBJ models: a small loader for Wavefront OBJ models.
