A NeoForge 1.21.1 port of Majrusz's Accessories — new special accessories that make certain aspects of Minecraft more enjoyable.

Overview

Majrusz's Accessories is a Minecraft modification that adds a variety of new special accessories, each of which grants unique passive bonuses to make certain aspects of the game more enjoyable. This project is a faithful port of the original mod by Majrusz to NeoForge 1.21.1, ported by Accidey.

How It Works

Accessories are held in the off-hand to take effect. They can be obtained through chest loot, fishing, mining, villager trading, archaeology, taming, breeding, brewing, sleeping, and other in-game activities, and can also be purchased from wandering traders.

Each accessory belongs to one of three tiers, which determines the number of Accessory Booster slots available on it:

Accessories

The mod currently includes the following accessories:

• Adventurer Kit (Tier 1) — Increases the amount of loot in chests and gives a chance to receive an accessory from any chest.
• Adventurer Rune (Tier 2) — A stronger version of the Adventurer Kit: increases chest loot, gives a chance for extra items when brushing suspicious blocks, and increases swimming speed.
• Ancient Scarab (Tier 1) — Gives a chance for extra items when brushing suspicious blocks, and a chance to receive an accessory from archaeology loot tables.
• Angler Rune (Tier 2) — Increases fishing luck, reduces fishing time, and gives a chance for extra treasure when fishing.
• Angler Trophy (Tier 1) — Increases fishing luck and gives a chance to receive an accessory or fish-related drops when fishing.
• Certificate of Taming (Tier 1) — Strengthens animals when tamed and gives a chance to receive an accessory upon taming.
• Discount Voucher (Tier 1) — Reduces villager trade prices and gives a chance to receive an accessory when trading.
• Dream Catcher (Tier 1) — Grants random status effects upon waking up and gives a chance to receive an accessory after sleeping.
• Household Rune (Tier 2) — Reduces trade prices, grants random effects upon waking up, and makes created potions stronger.
• Idol of Fertility (Tier 1) — Gives a chance of twins when breeding animals, and a chance to receive an accessory upon breeding.
• Lucky Rock (Tier 1) — Grants extra loot when mining and gives a rare chance to receive an accessory while mining stone.
• Metal Lure (Tier 1) — Gives a chance for extra treasure when fishing, and a chance to receive fish-related drops.
• Miner Guide (Tier 1) — Increases mining speed and gives a chance to receive an accessory from underground chests.
• Miner Rune (Tier 2) — A stronger version of the Miner Guide: increases mining speed, grants extra mining loot, and reduces durability loss.
• Nature Rune (Tier 2) — Strengthens tamed animals, gives a chance of twins when breeding, and doubles crops when harvesting.
• Secret Ingredient (Tier 1) — Makes created potions stronger and gives a chance to receive an accessory when brewing.
• Soul of Minecraft (Tier 3) — A legendary accessory that combines nearly all bonuses from the mod.
• Swimmer Guide (Tier 1) — Increases swimming speed and gives a chance to receive an accessory from underwater chests and buried treasure.
• Tamed Potato Beetle (Tier 1) — Gives a chance to double crops when harvesting (with an increased chance for potatoes), and a chance to receive an accessory upon harvesting.
• Tool Scraps (Tier 1) — Reduces durability loss and gives a chance to receive an accessory when a tool is about to break.
• Unbreakable Fishing Line (Tier 1) — Reduces fishing time and gives a chance to receive an accessory or fish-related drops when fishing.

Accessory Boosters

Boosters are special items that can be applied to accessories to further enhance their effects. Each booster adds a random efficiency bonus within a configurable range (by default from -60% to +60%, following a normal distribution centred on 0%).

Available boosters:

• Horseshoe — Basic booster.
• Dice — Basic booster.
• Onyx — Basic booster.
• Owl Feather — Basic booster.
• Golden Horseshoe — Rare booster.
• Golden Dice — Rare booster.

Boosters grant various bonuses, such as:

• Increased accessory drop chance.
• Increased experience gained.
• Increased luck.
• Increased accessory efficiency.

Cards

Cards allow players to manipulate the efficiency bonus applied to an accessory:

• Gambling Card — Redraws (rerolls) the efficiency bonus.
• Removal Card — Returns all applied Accessory Boosters.
• Reverse Card — Negates the current efficiency bonus.
