Majestic Terrain

The Overworld was generated before this mod existed? Expect visible borders where the old terrain ends. Majestic Terrain rewrites the Overworld's own climate and relief — it belongs in a new world, from the very first chunk.

What's new

v0.2.0-beta.7 - Biomes now appear with Quark

Fixed

  • Silverwood Grove and Deepvein Delve never generated when Quark was installed. Quark ships Biolith, which hooks the start of the Overworld's getNoiseBiome(x, y, z, sampler) and answers with its own table, so the hook this mod used (the one-argument variant vanilla delegates to) never ran. /majestic_terrain probe found 0 hits and /locate biome found nothing at any distance. The mod now hooks the four-argument method the world generator actually calls, and runs before Biolith. Measured on the same seed: 0 hits before, 830 after.
  • Structures anchored to our biomes (Expedition Core's biome_anchored) read the same method, so they place correctly again with Quark.

Notes

  • Already generated chunks do not change; the biomes appear in newly generated terrain.
  • Same dependency versions as 0.2.0-beta.6: Expedition Core 0.0.0-beta.8, Majestic Core 0.0.0-beta.4, Majestic Bestiary 0.0.0-beta.12, Vellumli 1.0.0.
  • Verified with Biolith on a dedicated server; locate and the buildings have not been tested on foot with Quark yet.
