Majestic Terrain (0.2.0-beta.6)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
v0.2.0-beta.6 - A wider band for the Delve
Changed
- The Deepvein Delve climate band is much wider. The cold, dry, far-inland cell it
used (temperature
[-1, -0.45]× humidity[-1, -0.1]× continentalness[0.3, 1]) is a corner of the noise that almost never occurs, so/locate biome majestic_terrain:deepvein_delvecould not find the biome at a reasonable distance. It is now temperature[-1, -0.15]× humidity[-1, 0.05]× continentalness[-0.11, 1]; erosion, depth [0.2, 0.9](underground only) and weirdness are untouched. The humidity ceiling stays below Silverwood Grove's floor, so the two biomes still never share a climate cell. - Because the band is wider, the Delve now replaces every vanilla cave biome in that climate range underground — part of dripstone and lush caves included — not just one cell. The surface above stays vanilla.
/majestic_terrain probenow measures underground levels (Y=-25, 0 and 32) as well as the surface. It used to sample only at Y=64, wheredepthis about 0 and no underground band can ever show up, so it could never see the Delve.
Notes
- Same dependency versions as 0.2.0-beta.5: Expedition Core 0.0.0-beta.8, Majestic Core 0.0.0-beta.4, Majestic Bestiary 0.0.0-beta.12, Vellumli 1.0.0.
- Install before generating the world, same as always.
- The new band has not been measured yet with the updated probe, and nothing has been
tested on foot. Run
/majestic_terrain probeand/locate biome majestic_terrain:deepvein_delve, then dig down to Y=-25.
