Majestic Terrain

The Overworld was generated before this mod existed? Expect visible borders where the old terrain ends. Majestic Terrain rewrites the Overworld's own climate and relief — it belongs in a new world, from the very first chunk.

What's new

v0.0.0-beta.7 - A taller, busier Silverwood Grove

Added

  • The Forest Priestess lives in the grove. One stands on the Moonwatch's platform beside the lectern and one in the Silverwood Ring, facing its centre. She is neutral: leave her be and she leaves you be. One per structure; she does not respawn or wander off.
  • A waystone in the centre of the Silverwood Ring, only when the Waystones mod is installed. Without it the ring is exactly as before.

Changed

  • Taller trees. The grove now grows slender silverwoods 16 to 24 blocks tall and, now and then, a great 2x2 silverwood of 22 to 32 blocks with branches. The birch is the tall vanilla birch and the oak is gone. The tree a silverwood sapling grows is unchanged.
  • More elves. Elves now make up about one in three hostile spawns in the grove (before, about one in twenty) and come in groups of 2 to 4. Zombies, skeletons, spiders and creepers are rarer there, and slimes and zombie villagers no longer spawn in it. Only this biome is affected.

Notes

  • Requires Majestic Core 0.0.0-beta.4 (fixes the magenta stripped silverwood) and Majestic Bestiary 0.0.0-beta.12 (the priestess).
  • Trees, spawns and structures only change in newly generated chunks. A new world is recommended.
