Majestic Terrain

The Overworld was generated before this mod existed? Expect visible borders where the old terrain ends. Majestic Terrain rewrites the Overworld's own climate and relief — it belongs in a new world, from the very first chunk.

What's new

v0.0.0-beta.6 — Silverwood trees, the Moonwatch, and a crash fix

Fixed

  • Crash when creating or loading a world with ModernFix installed, and worlds that could not save their generation settings to level.dat. The Overworld's biome source used to be wrapped in a class of ours that could not be serialised; ModernFix's stronghold cache needs to serialise it and crashed. The Overworld now keeps its own vanilla biome source and our biomes are added on top of it, so it saves exactly like vanilla.

Added

  • Silverwood trees in the Silverwood Grove: tall, pale, silver-barked trees make up most of the forest now, mixed with some birch and oak. Their wood comes from Majestic Core 0.0.0-beta.3.
  • The Moonwatch, the grove's second structure: an elven lookout built of silverwood around a living tree, with a platform on stilts and an open lattice roof so the moon shines in. It has a chest with silverwood saplings, logs, arrows, food and the odd enchanted book. The Silverwood Ring is unchanged.

Notes

  • Requires Majestic Core 0.0.0-beta.3 or later.
  • New trees and structures only appear in newly generated chunks. A new world is recommended.
