Magnatour

Overview

v26.2-beta is the next pre-release after v26.1.2-r1. It ports Magnatour to Minecraft 26.2 and introduces major world-generation, structure, and endgame exploration updates.

Changes

• Added Universe Meta, a new void-based Universe dimension.
  • Its first generation creates a persistent 64×64×64 solid cube at the origin, built from Death Blocks with reinforced Rebirth Block borders.
  • Added an End-Portal-style Universe Meta Portal: activate the 12 non-corner blocks of a 5×5 Universe Block frame to create its 3×3 portal center.
  • Portals support linked Overworld and Universe Meta destinations, safe return-portal creation, and persistent links after server restarts.
  • Survival players teleport after 80 game ticks in the portal; Creative players teleport instantly.
  • Added the Universe Meta advancement and related models, textures, and localizations.
• Reworked Harvest Continent terrain generation.
  • Improved large-scale biome layout and terrain blending around Great Lakes.
  • Prevented small fragmented micro-biomes and smoothed biome boundaries.
  • Increased farm-animal replenishment in the dimension.
• Added custom Ore Continent generation with Ore Land and Ore Forest biomes, ore-tree features, and adjusted structure generation balance.
• Added Town of Fortune, including settlement generation, villagers, and livestock replenishment.
• Refined Diamond City and Gold Bell Tower generation, lighting, chain connections, clock presentation, and structure mob spawning.
• Refreshed the Item Hub presentation and several item textures.

Internal

• Reorganized registry, networking, world-generation, renderer, screen, and mixin-helper code to support the new content and improve maintainability.
• Updated the mod environment and build configuration for Minecraft 26.2, including Fabric API and Fabric Loom updates.
