🍀Magic Clover Rework (Forge 1.20.1)

Find a four-leaf clover, roll the dice, and watch a random item pop out... or blow up in your face!

A lightweight mod that adds a single item, the Four-Leaf Clover. It drops from foliage and, when used, throws a random item from any installed mod onto the ground in front of you, with a short pickup delay. You choose whether to pick it up or leave it. But luck cuts both ways: sometimes you get a lit TNT or a lit Creeper instead.

✨ Features

• New item: Four-Leaf Clover (stacks to 64) with tooltip and its own creative tab.
• Right-click to roll: the item is thrown on the ground, never straight into your inventory.
• Luck & misfortune: small chances of an unlucky TNT or Creeper (defaults: 5% / 3%; explosions don't break blocks by default).
• Modpack-friendly roulette: 60% of rolls give a common vanilla item, 40% give an uncommon/rare/epic vanilla item or an item from any installed mod (adjustable).
• Wandering Trader: sells the Clover for Netherite Ingots (price, odds and limits are configurable).
• Advancements for lucky and unlucky players.
• Safety built-in: admin/unplayable items are blocked (Barrier, Debug Stick, Command/Structure/Jigsaw/Light blocks, Bedrock, Spawner, etc.), plus your own extraBlacklist.
• Translated into English and Brazilian Portuguese.

🌱 How to get it

• Break grass, ferns, tall grass, large fern - 3% by default.
• Break Big & Small Dripleaf - 60% by default.
• Buy it from a Wandering Trader.
• Creative tab for testing.

⌨️ Commands

• /clover commands (or /magicclover commands) - lists everything.
• /magicclover roulette - shows the current split and how many items are in each group.
• /magicclover roulette <0-100> - changes the % of common vanilla items (OP required).

🔧 Compatibility & Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1 - Forge 47.x
• Multiplayer: install on both server and clients.
• Drops use a Global Loot Modifier with a built-in fallback, so it works in large modpacks. Pack makers can add plants from other mods through the block tag magic_clover:clover_plants.

❓ FAQ

Can it roll modded items?
Yes, anything registered as an item, unless blacklisted.

Can I block specific items?
Add their IDs to extraBlacklist in the config.

Can I make the roll favor vanilla or modded items?
Yes: [roulette] vanillaCommonPercent in the config, or /magicclover roulette in game.

Does it fill my inventory automatically?
No, the item is thrown on the ground first so you can opt in.

• Fixed: clover not dropping from grass in modpacks (conflicts with other mods).
