Lorenzo's Biome Bundle

Four new End biomes with unique terrain, tinted grass, ambient particles and plants, scattered across the outer End islands.

Lorenzo’s Biome Bundle

Lorenzo’s Biome Bundle adds four new biomes to the outer End as large, hand-shaped patches of land, each with its own terrain, tinted End Grass, ambient particles and vegetation.

The dragon fight and the main End island are not touched. Past the main island (about 1,000 blocks from the center), the outer End islands are no longer the same empty end stone: you will now stumble upon violet needle-islands, burning amber badlands, crater gardens and mossy platforms riddled with caves.

The biomes

Each biome is a patch about 400 to 660 blocks wide, with an irregular border, surrounded by the regular End. Patches of different biomes never touch each other, and they appear in different places in every world. Together they cover roughly 10% of the outer islands. Inside a patch, the whole terrain is replaced, not only the surface.

Violet Highlands Many narrow, elongated islands separated by the void: suspended pillars, stone blades and very thin platforms. Ambient particles: portal.

Amber Barrens Fragmented islands with irregular terraces, deep fissures, natural arches and worn rock formations. Island heights vary a lot, from low mesas to tall ridges and towers. Ambient particles: small flames.

Azure Gardens Large depressions with raised rims and lowered centers. Craters come in three sizes, some with several terraced levels, steep walls and small formations on the floor. Ambient particles: souls.

Mossy Expanse Huge platforms on three different heights, connected by natural bridges, with overhangs, level changes and floating chunks. The platforms are hollow: creative caves with tall halls, low wide chambers, tunnels that open on the cliffs, light shafts that cut through every layer, columns, stalactites and thick pillars. Ambient particles: green ash (a custom particle).

Blocks

  • End Grass: replaces the top layer of the four biomes. Its color changes smoothly inside each biome, with a dedicated color palette per biome (violet, amber, azure and moss). Use bone meal on it to spread it to nearby plain End Stone that has nothing solid above. If a solid block is placed on top of it, it slowly turns back into End Stone (plants, torches, carpets and similar do not smother it).
  • End Fern: a low, replaceable plant that grows on End Grass in all four biomes and follows the color of the biome. It only drops when broken with shears.
  • End Flower: a decorative flower with a tinted stem. It is available in the creative tab for now and does not generate naturally yet.

Finding the biomes

Use the locate command in the End:

/locate biome lbb:violet_highlands /locate biome lbb:amber_barrens /locate biome lbb:azure_gardens /locate biome lbb:mossy_expanse

Advancements

Five advancements, in their own tab: one for finding each biome, plus a challenge for visiting all four (awards 100 XP).

Languages

English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and French, with adapted names rather than literal translations.

Requirements and compatibility

  • Minecraft 26.2 with NeoForge 26.2.0.93 or newer.
  • Only works on new worlds. Chunks that were already generated in the End are not changed, and the biomes will not appear in them.
  • The mod replaces the End dimension’s biome source and noise settings. Other mods that also replace the End worldgen will conflict with it, because only one of them can win.
  • Works in singleplayer and on servers; install it on both sides.

Installation

  1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2.
  2. Put the .jar in your mods folder.
  3. Create a new world, enter the End and look for the biomes far from the main island.
