# Touhou Little Maid Berry Harvest Compat

A lightweight farming addon for **Touhou Little Maid**, by **niumadadi520**. Configure how maids harvest crops through an in-game menu, or ship shared YAML rules with your modpack.

## Harvest your way

- **Right-click harvest** for crops that provide produce through interaction.
- **Break without replanting** for harvestable blocks that should be removed.
- **Break and optionally replant**: harvest and collect drops first, then plant using a matching item from the maid's inventory. Freshly harvested seeds count too. If no seed is available, leave the spot empty and continue harvesting.
- **Custom tools**: select an inventory item or specify an item ID or tag, then choose the left-click or right-click action. The maid uses a real tool from her inventory.
- **Mature samples**: register a crop you know is ready to harvest instead of entering growth values manually. Advanced property editing is also available.

## Getting started

1. Install this addon and Touhou Little Maid. Assign your maid to the farming task and make sure the crop is within her working area and reachable.
2. Craft a Crop Binder using any wool block above two sticks in one crafting-table column.
3. Hold the binder, point at a mature crop, and press **Shift + middle mouse button** with a maid nearby. The default nearby-maid radius is 16 blocks.
4. Choose a harvest action. Open **Custom** for tool settings, and select planting material if you want replanting.
5. Save the rule for the server. **Shift + right-click** opens shared rule management.

Direct configuration works in survival and creative mode and does not require a harvest demonstration.

## Shared rules for modpacks

Rules are stored in:

Modpack authors can edit this file without entering the game and distribute it with the pack. Rules are loaded at server startup; administrators can run `/tlmharvest reload` after editing. Use `/tlmharvest inspect` to inspect a crop and the maid's working conditions.

Players may add and update rules without operator permissions. Deleting rules requires administrator permissions. The server's configuration is authoritative in multiplayer.

## Requirements and compatibility

- **Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 — Forge only.**
- **Forge 47.4.22 or later for Minecraft 1.20.1.**
- **Touhou Little Maid 1.5.3-forge+mc1.20.1 or later for the same game version.** Tested with 1.5.3 and Forge 47.4.22.
- Install the same addon version on **both the client and server**.
- Jade 11+ is optional. Crop mods are optional, not required dependencies.

Bundled rules and compatibility regression tests include 14 Vital Herbs 6.1.1 herbs, selected Flavor Immersed Daily 2026.7.16 fruit trees and crops, and Kaleidoscope Tavern 1.2.0 grape crops. Other crops can be configured through the menu or YAML. Complex NBT-driven mechanics, machine inventories and multi-step interactions may still need a dedicated adapter. Pumpkins, melons and their stems remain handled by the maid's original functionality.
