🚀 Soul Resonance & Progression

  • Resonance XP System: You can now earn Soul XP through gameplay. Mining rare ores (Diamonds, Ancient Debris, etc.), defeating enemies, and surviving days will now increase your link's power.
  • Resonance Levels (1-5): A new progression path. Unlock distinct abilities and passive buffs as your soul connection matures.
  • Survival Streak: A daily counter that tracks how many consecutive days you and your partner have survived. Each new day grants a massive XP bonus.

✨ New Soul Abilities

  • Last Breath (Level 5): A final protection layer. If a player takes fatal damage, they gain 5 seconds of invincibility and regeneration to find a way to survive. (72h cooldown).
  • Soul Avenger (Level 5): If your partner is downed, you enter a state of rage with Speed and Strength. Kill an enemy within 15 seconds to restore your partner’s soul and bring them back to life!
  • Soul Swap (Level 4): Swap positions instantly with your partner. Perfect for tactical escapes or navigating tricky terrain.
  • Proximity Buffs: Standing near each other now grants Regeneration I (Level 3+) and a Soul Glow effect that illuminates the dark (Level 2+).

⚠️ Connection & Environmental Hazards

  • Distance Weakness: If you stray too far from your partner (over 500 blocks), your link will strain, causing Weakness and Mining Fatigue.
  • Thermal Shock: If one partner is in a cold biome and the other in a hot biome, the temperature conflict causes Confusion and elemental damage. Stay in similar climates to remain stable!
  • Offline Strain: If your partner leaves the server, the remaining player suffers from permanent Weakness until they return.

⌨️ UI & Localization

  • New Resonance Menu (Key: K): A dedicated GUI to monitor your XP progress, current Level, and active Survival Streak.
  • New Soul Chest GUI (Key: G)
  • Smart Soul Compass: Now shows the exact distance to your partner in the tooltip and tracks their coordinates across dimensions (Level 3+).
  • Dynamic Language Support: Full translation for all new chat messages and GUI elements in both English (en_us) and Spanish (es_es).

🛠️ Technical Fixes & Stability

  • Time-Jump Immunity: Rewrote the survival streak logic to be compatible with /time set commands and sleeping. Streaks no longer "freeze" when time is manipulated.
  • Double-Sync Logic: Fixed an issue where partners would see different XP or Day counts. Data is now forcefully synchronized for both players simultaneously.
  • Bug Fix (Missing Symbols): Resolved a critical compilation error where the server would forget the last updated day after a restart.
  • Data Persistence: Deep integration with NBT saving to ensure all resonance data survives server crashes and restarts.
