Lightwright lets you place lights where you need them: over a doorway, inside a room, or just outside the frame when filming. Use a spotlight for a focused beam or a point light to illuminate the area around it.
Press F7 to place a light where you're looking, then F8 to open the editor. F6 shows or hides the light markers.
What you can adjust
- Colour, brightness, range and the shape of a spotlight's beam.
- Real-time shadows from blocks, entities and supported models.
- Visible beams, mist, glare and a glowing bulb at the source.
- Pulses, flicker and strobes, with presets to get started.
Requirements
Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge 47.4 or newer within the 47.x series. No shader pack is required. For multiplayer, install Lightwright on both the server and the clients.
Shader-pack lighting requires Oculus and preparation through Lightwright's settings. Compatibility varies by pack; Complementary has a dedicated integration.
