This is my recreation of Lifesteal for Forge! I tried to get it mostly accurate, but I took some (minor) creative liberties.
Also, I've never watched Lifesteal, and all my info was from my friend. As far as I'm aware, the recipes and mechanics are the same ones as in the show.
FEATURES:
Lifesteal basic health functionality- Die, you lose a heart. Kill a player, you gain a heart. If your health is at max, spawns a heart item. If a player fully dies to zero hearts, you get forced into spectator mode. Players are able to be revived from this using the Beacon of Life.
Heart- Your basic heart, adds one heart to player's health, unless player is full. (Default 2 rows. Not configurable [Yet ;) ]. )
Heart Shard- A shard of a heart. Used to craft the heart.
Beacon of Life- The item used to revive other players. Rename this to the name of a deceased player, and, if they're online, it will find and revive them with 5 hearts.
Withdraw command.
USAGE:
/Withdraw (number of hearts to withdraw 1-10)
This command withdraws hearts from the executor. It will draw as many hearts as instructed to, but will not kill the user. If the player has only one heart left, it will stop. If the player has more max hearts, but is only at one currently, it will stop.
USAGE:
/Withdraw 1
(will withdraw 1 heart)
/Withdraw 5
(Will withdraw 5 hearts)
Etc.
