Lifefruits Craft

Adds Life Fruits that permanently increase max health, craftable Lifefruit and Starfruit potions, and a new ore — inspired by Terraria's Life Fruit.

What this mod does:

  • Adds Life Fruits, Life Fruit Shards, Life Fruit Ore, Lifefruit Boost potions, Activated Stars, and Starfruit potions.

Life Fruit

  • Right-click a Life Fruit to permanently gain +1 HP, shown as +1/2 heart.
  • Costs 5 XP levels per use.
  • Maximum uses per player: 10.

 

Life Fruit Shards

  • 9 Life Fruit Shards craft into 1 Life Fruit.
  • Dropped by Life Fruit Ore.
  • Also dropped by Golden Blights if the mod is installed.

 

Life Fruit Ore

  • Generates in the Overworld.
  • Drops Life Fruit Shards.
  • Requires iron-tier pickaxe or better.
  • Drops 3 to 7 XP.
  • Generation chance: about 8% per chunk.
    • Vein size: 3.
    • Y range: 5 to 27.

 

Golden Blight shard drops

  • Golden Blights drop Life Fruit Shards.
  • Default range: 4 to 16 shards when this mod is present.

 

Lifefruit Boost potions

  • - Health Boost + Life Fruit -> Lifefruit Boost.
  • Lifefruit Boost + Redstone -> Long Lifefruit Boost.
  • Lifefruit Boost + Glowstone Dust -> Strong Lifefruit Boost.

 

Lifefruit Boost effects

  • Lifefruit Boost I: +6 HP, or +3 hearts, for 3:00.
  • Long Lifefruit Boost I: +6 HP, or +3 hearts, for 8:00.
  • Strong Lifefruit Boost II: +12 HP, or +6 hearts, for 1:30.
  • Lifefruit Boost removes normal Health Boost while active.

 

Activated Star

  • Crafted from 9 Golden Blight Stars.
  • Used as a brewing ingredient for Starfruit potions.
  • Has an enchantment glint.

 

Starfruit brewing

  • Lifefruit Boost + Activated Star -> Starfruit Boost.
  • Long Lifefruit Boost + Activated Star -> Long Starfruit Boost.
  • Strong Lifefruit Boost + Activated Star -> Strong Health Boost.
  • Starfruit Boost + Redstone -> Long Starfruit Boost.
  • Starfruit Boost + Glowstone Dust -> Strong Starfruit Boost.

 

Starfruit Health Boost

  • Starfruit Boost I: +12 HP, or +6 hearts, for 12:00.
  • Long Starfruit Boost I: +12 HP, or +6 hearts, for 40:00.
  • Strong Starfruit Boost II: +24 HP, or +12 hearts, for 7:30.
  • Starfruit Health Boost removes normal Health Boost and Lifefruit Boost while active.

 

Starfruit Regeneration

  • Starfruit potions also apply Starfruit Regeneration.
  • This is separate from normal Regeneration, so both can be active together.
  • Duration matches the Starfruit Health Boost duration.

 

Permanent Starfruit bonus

  • The first Starfruit potion a player drinks grants +6 permanent HP, or +3 hearts.
  • This happens only once per player.



Heart HUD

  • Shows current hearts near the vanilla heart bar.
  • Example: x30 means 30 current hearts. Taking damage lowers the number.
  • Also shows the current Minecraft day.
  • The day text turns red while Blood Moon is active.



Config options

  • maxHealthBonus: ScalingHealth max-health context value.
  • shardDropMin: minimum Life Fruit Shards from Golden Blights.
  • shardDropMax: maximum Life Fruit Shards from Golden Blights.
