Liberty Gear: Evolution

Smithing Upgrade Hotfix

Fixed a bug that prevented higher-level Evolution gear from upgrading at the Smithing Table, including gear stuck at levels 13 and 14.

Fixes

• The Smithing Table now accepts all required upgrade materials: Echo Shards, Phantom Membranes, Dragon's Breath, Nether Stars, and End Crystals.
• Fixed Evolution Core Shift-click routing on Minecraft 1.21.1 so it enters the material slot correctly.
• No changes to XP requirements, upgrade costs, or gear visuals. Existing gear can continue progressing.

Upgrading from level 13 to 14

Once your gear is ready to upgrade, place it in the Smithing Table:

• Left slot: Leave empty.
• Middle slot: Your level 13 Evolution gear.
• Right slot: One Echo Shard.

Correction to our earlier advice: An Evolution Core does not replace the Echo Shard for this upgrade. The Echo Shard requirement is correct; the bug was preventing the table from accepting it.

For level 14 to 15, bows and boots require a Phantom Membrane; other leveling gear requires an Echo Shard. Leave the template slot empty for these upgrades too.

Installation

Replace the previous mod JAR with the updated file matching your Minecraft version: 1.21.1, 26.1.2, or 26.2. Keep only one Liberty Gear Evolution JAR installed.
