Lazy Enough Items 21.1-1.1.2
Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.248+
A feature release with no breaking changes — saves, configs and language keys stay compatible.
Item Tooltips, Upgraded
Hover an item to see its key numbers as icons — works both inside the LEI panel and in vanilla screens (inventory, chests, …):
- Blocks: required tool + harvest tier in a single icon (wooden / stone / iron / diamond pickaxe, shovel, axe or hoe), followed by hardness. Blocks you can break bare-handed show a grass block; unbreakable blocks show bedrock.
- Fuels: coal icon + "smelts N items"
- Food: hunger as drumsticks (one per 2 hunger points, same as the HUD) + saturation as golden drumsticks
- Compostable items: bone meal icon + composting chance
- Armor: armor icon + armor points (1 point = half an icon, same scale as the vanilla HUD; 20 points = 10 icons)
- Damaging items: hearts + damage value, half hearts included (1 heart = 2 damage)
Layout is fixed: icon first, value after; rows are ordered Block → Fuel → Food → Compost → Armor → Damage. The two food rows follow your "more descriptions" setting (or hold Ctrl); hold Shift to see tags only.
Enchantment Descriptions
- Hover an enchanted item (enchanted books above all) to read what the enchantment actually does — shown right after the name, before the tag lines
- Levelled per displayed book:
%s/%dare filled with that enchantment's level on that very item - Zero setup for modded enchantments: reads the community key
enchantment.<modid>.<path>.desc; 42 built-in vanilla descriptions (EN + ZH) as fallback - Descriptions are not searchable; ≤300 chars / ≤6 lines each; at most 3 enchantments per tooltip; never Chinese in an English UI
Workshop "LEI Tags" Card (Extensions)
- Pick an item (same search & filters as always) → edit / add / remove tags → write a one-line description
- Read-only "Engine tags" group: from built-in data / datapacks / mods — click one to search by that tag
- Export = a datapack fragment (hand it straight to a modpack author); import / clear-my-data ask for a second click
- Your tags only affect what you see and search; they never enter the server-side injection set
