LegendQuest ReForged 2.6.0+mc26.1.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Standards is still required, and its version requirement is unchanged. The new voice feature needs Simple Voice Chat, which is entirely optional: without it LegendQuest behaves exactly as it did.
Your party is a voice channel
- Join a party and you are in its voice channel. Members hear each other at any distance — and still hear whoever is standing next to them, so the room you are in does not go silent. Leaving the party leaves the channel.
- It needs the Simple Voice Chat mod on the server. Without it nothing changes and nothing is said about it; with it, the channel is arranged for you and you are told when you are in it.
/party voiceputs you back in your party's channel if you left it from Simple Voice Chat's own screen. The channel is hidden and locked so that strangers cannot wander into a party's conversation, which also means it cannot be rejoined from that screen — hence the command.- If you are already in a voice group of your own, LegendQuest leaves you there rather than dragging you out of a conversation you chose, and tells you how to switch.
- Turn it off with
party.voiceChannel = falsein the config. - Text mutes do not apply to voice. LegendQuest does not own the mute and Simple Voice Chat has moderation of its own; a server that needs a player silenced in voice should silence them there.
Advancements
- LegendQuest has its own advancements tab, 19 of them: the character line (race, class, levels 5/10/20 and the cap, a first skill, a first feat, a respec), karma in both directions, and parties — plus hidden and challenge entries for mastering every class, playing every race, and a party whose members are all online and at the cap.
- They are plain vanilla advancements, so they work on an unmodded client and show up in Better Advancements.
- Progress you already had counts. Everything is re-offered when you log in, so a character who was level 30 before this arrived gets those advancements straight away.
- Pack authors can grant them too: the criterion names are documented in the README and work from any datapack, and a pack can replace a shipped one by using the same id.
advancements.enabled = falseswitches the lot off.
