Have you ever been on an adventure, 10k blocks away from your house, finding and looting dungeons without ever changing your spawnpoint?
Dying at this moment can be game breaker. You go back home, with no weapons, no armor, 10.000 blocks away from your gear.

Legendary Shrines tries to help fixing this issue.

You will now encounter shrines : an new block that spawns in the Overworld.
When walking near one, you will activate its stone.
The stone allows you to choose where to respawn :
1. Respawn at your regular spawnpoint
2. Respawn at the shrine

No more need to walk for 30 minutes in one direction to go back to your gear, try to get it back, probably dying again and ragequitting the game.
The stone will bring you closer to your last death.

It is highly recommended for modpack authors to place custom stones in their biggest dungeons, as they are the more likely places to die.

Configuration

Mod is very configurable. The shrines are safe to use. They don't change anything about the death mechanics. Only gives a way to choose where to respawn.
