Legacy Rebindable Keys

Allows you to rebind some keys that are hardcoded into the game for legacy minecraft versions.

Minecraft 1.6.4 bakes a few of its function keys right into the game code. F5 swings the camera around, F1 hides the interface, F3 pulls up the debug screen. None of them show up in the controls menu, so there is no way to move them off keys you might rather use for something else. This mod changes that.

It takes five of those built-in keys and lists them in Options under Controls, next to all the normal bindings. From there you can put them wherever you like, including on a mouse button.

Here is what you can remap:

- F1, hide or show the HUD
- F2, take a screenshot
- F3, the debug and coordinates screen
- F5, cycle the camera perspective
- F8, the smooth cinematic camera

Every key starts out exactly where vanilla puts it, so nothing feels different until you go and change something. The useful part is what happens after you rebind one. The original key stops responding, which normally is not possible in this version of the game. Move perspective onto a side mouse button and the F5 key just goes quiet.
