Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Apex Solo – cockpit and controls
- Rebuilt the yoke from your reference photos. It’s mirrored left/right and turns more slowly than the wheels, with the same maximum angle as the V12 Apex. Its main colour is now orange, with a black shroud, silver trim and a gold shield.
- Cockpit floor is back to black. I added a diamond-stitch pattern in orange, with a silver border and gold studs, only inside the two side areas you outlined in white. I mapped your outline from the screenshot onto the model, so the pattern follows its shape.
- Pedals, the pedal-area silver outline, switches, a small screen and gold bolts are in. The outside black and orange facets are repainted as you marked them.
- The canopy frame bars are spaced wider, and the orange glass follows them so no sky shows through.
- Rear louvers open sideways, up to 45°, and open further as speed rises.
Sound
- The Solo’s idle is now a steady loop, like the V12 Apex.
- Engine RPM no longer climbs while you slow down or downshift.
Lights
- The L key toggles the headlights; they’re on by default whenever the engine runs.
- The headlight is now the round lenses you circled on the nose, on the Solo, and the V12 Apex has its own lamps too.
- I replaced the Minecraft light blocks and the hard-edged beam cone with a soft additive light pool that follows the ground ahead. There’s also a small glow at each lamp.
- Interior details glow at night so the cabin stays readable.
Rain and first person
- In first person there’s no rain inside the cabin, but rain streaks are drawn outside the windows. Third person is unchanged. The streaks are faint, so they may be hard to see.
- In first person the rider’s body is drawn without the head, so the head doesn’t block the view.
Items and bugs
- A destroyed car now returns its key with the fuel level kept, which fixes the free refill. Picking the car up already did this.
- Both car-key icons are redrawn at 32×32 as a smart-key fob, with a glossy black body, silver frame and three buttons. They use my own shield emblem rather than the real brand logo: gold for V12 Apex, orange for Solo.
Delivery
- All changes are in your project folder. The latest zip is
v12-apex-phase4ap.zip. Several earlier edits landed in a wrongv12-apexsubfolder for a while. That’s fixed, and the empty subfolder can be deleted. - Nothing has been compiled or run, and I couldn’t check visuals or audio. Please test in-game.
