Keybind Presets

Save your keybinds as presets and swap between them in one click, right from the Key Binds menu.

One layout for PvP, one for building, one for a modpack with a hundred extra keys? Stop rebinding everything by hand. Keybind Presets adds a small bar to the top of the vanilla Key Binds screen, so you can keep as many layouts as you like and switch between them instantly.

✦ Features

• Create presets. Start a new preset from your current keys or from the default keys.
• Switch in one click. Use the arrows or click the preset name. The key list updates straight away.
• Rename and delete. Rename a preset whenever you want. Deleting asks you to confirm first, so nothing goes by accident.
• Saves itself. Any key you change while a preset is selected is saved into that preset. No save button.
• Optional switch keys. Give a preset its own key to jump to it in game, or leave it on None. Press the same key again to go back to the preset you had before. Perfect for a quick PvP and building toggle.
• Works with modded keys. Every key in the Key Binds menu is saved, including keys added by other mods.
• Client side only. Works on any server, including vanilla ones.

✦ How to use

1. Open Options, then Controls, then Key Binds.
2. Use the bar at the top:
   • < and > switch preset
   • New makes a preset
   • Rename renames the selected one
   • Delete removes it
   • Key sets a key that switches to this preset in game. Click it, then press a key. Press Esc to clear it.
3. Change your keys like normal. They are saved into the selected preset.

Presets are stored in config/keybindpresets.json, so you can back them up or copy them into another instance or share them with friends.
