What's new

  • The Assembler's and the Refiner's screens are laid out as the other mods' machines are (#55): labelled bars for the craft's or smelt's progress and for the energy, the Assembler's fluid boxes as wide gauges that show their amount, inputs down the left and outputs down the right, and a status line saying what the machine is doing, such as "Needs power". Both screens are taller, the Assembler's to 240, and the Refiner's input and output stand at the panel's two sides.
  • The Assemblers and the Refiner have real art in place of the stand-ins: plated casings from Malcolm Riley's unused textures (CC BY 4.0, credited in NOTICE), with a band round the top and across the roof in each tier's colour, light grey, yellow or cyan, and a crafting grid on the front at eye height. The casing now turns with the Assembler's facing. The Refiner is plated to match, with Riley's smelter, cold or glowing, let into its front. (#22)
  • The Assembler's and the Refiner's screens and Jade tooltips are drawn by libworks-runtime's shared machine look, the same as the other mods' machines: a fluid gauge, too narrow for its amount, shows none at any fill, and its tooltip says "Empty" where it said "No fluid": the keys craftworks.machine.fluid and craftworks.machine.fluid_empty are gone for libworks-runtime's libworks.machine.fluid and libworks.machine.fluid_empty. (#54)
  • Every Craftworks item shows in the suite's shared Works creative tab (libworks:works), registered by the libworks-runtime Craftworks already nests, and the Craftworks tab craftworks:craftworks and its lang key itemGroup.craftworks are gone. No item shows in any other tab. (#48)
  • The recipes only Craftworks' own test and dev runs read, craftworks:gametest/* and craftworks:dev/*, no longer ship in the jar. Nothing outside those runs ever turned them on.
  • Craftworks nests libworks-runtime 0.1.3 by jar-in-jar, so a pack installs nothing more, and the Assembler's ghosts (what its empty slots take, under the Held recipe) are drawn and found by its Ghosts. They look and answer EMI and JEI as before, and hovering one, or the product at the head, shows its item's tooltip, as the Harvester's do. (#52)
  • The description in the mods list names the Assemblers and the Refiner beside the Personal Assembler.
  • The Refiner (craftworks:refiner), Factorio's electric furnace, is a placed machine that smelts on FE and no fuel: an input and an output slot, a screen with a progress bar and the energy, and any vanilla smelting or blasting recipe, blasting where an input has both (raw iron takes the blast furnace's recipe). Its refiner section of craftworks-server.toml sets its speed (default 2, a smelt takes the recipe's cooking time over it, so 100 ticks for smelting and 50 for blasting), power (default 90 FE a tick) and buffer (default 20,000 FE). An item capability on every side lets pipes and hoppers insert only what a recipe smelts, up to two smelts' worth, and take out only the output. It is crafted by an Assembling recipe from a blast furnace, 4 iron ingots and 5 redstone, which a pack overrides at craftworks:refiner, and it is the workstation of the smelting and blasting tabs in EMI and JEI. Jade shows its state and progress. (#46)
