Justify API — Beta.95–Beta.129
Cumulative changes from 2.0.0-beta.95 through 2.0.0-beta.129. Minecraft 26.2 changes are listed separately below; the maintained Minecraft 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 builds remain on Beta.127.
Shared gameplay systems
- Added per-item portal customization: RGB colors, single/dual firing modes, and fractional portal dimensions from 1 to 5 blocks. Existing portal guns retain save compatibility.
- Extended portal traversal, laser tracing and Hard Light Bridge routing to support variable portal sizes.
- Added shared controllers and collision handling for chamber doors, buttons, automatic portal emitters, moving platforms, ARM panels, elevators and vacuum tubes.
- Improved passenger movement on platforms and inside elevators, including descending motion, direction changes and custom player gravity. Wall and obstacle checks remain active.
- Added branching Indicator Light networks with bidirectional power and feedback protection. Fixed piston oscillation when controlled through indicator lines.
- Added synchronized custom player appearances, animated ceiling NPCs and shared prop support for personality cores and Frankenturrets.
- Added the underlying Test Chambers systems: independent play worlds, validated
.jtcarchives, persistent chamber rules, music playback and optional linked timelines.
Rendering and performance
- Added GPU skinning for weighted animated models, with shared geometry, a configurable GPU memory budget and a CPU fallback.
- Improved culling of large ceiling models so off-screen assemblies do not need their animation evaluated.
- Preserved smooth normals and material data in cached model rendering with Iris/Oculus. Improved glass, optical materials and texture filtering.
- Added automatic fitting for custom inventory models and corrected mirrored custom-player and held-item rendering.
- Fixed the black-screen rendering issue triggered by Faith Plates with Oculus installed and shader packs disabled.
- Fixed missing portal interiors in solid Test Chamber worlds with Embeddium. Improved remote chunk retention, lighting and terrain updates when entering and leaving portals.
- Added bounded background loading for menu video and profile images, reusable UI controls, and positional sound cleanup on removal or world changes.
- Made shared model and collision caches safe for concurrent loading and queries.
Settings and controls
- Added an optional PhysX GPU-package installer with background download, progress, checksum verification, an opt-out and a restart notice. Installation is also available from the GPU settings.
- Added per-family model selectors and scrolling in the Models settings. New configurations use the highest shared visual-quality defaults; existing preferences are preserved.
- Fixed Creative-mode alternate right-click configuration, including while flying.
- Added server-side validation for Creative-only device configuration and shared protections against picking up suite blocks in Survival or Adventure.
- Added chamber-specific Portal Gun server settings. They synchronize with players and travel with exported maps without replacing personal client preferences or global defaults.
- Improved settings navigation and English/Russian interface text.
Minecraft 26.2
- Added Java 25 builds for Fabric and NeoForge, with one universal JAR for both loaders.
- Migrated shared GPU meshes, animation, portals, mirrors, optical effects and item previews to the 26.2 rendering APIs. Native OpenGL and Vulkan paths are covered.
- Updated networking, inventory and NBT handling, block entities, energy transactions, movement validation and world export for the new game formats.
- Fixed portal traversal corrections that could send players back after crossing, and preserved exit velocity during teleport confirmation.
- Restored menu backgrounds and text on in-world displays after the rendering API changes. Corrected transparent/emissive material ordering, including the Portal chamber door's blue lighting.
- Fixed missing Iris materials for crystal glass, lenses and emission, plus intermittent model-baking failures during parallel resource loading.
- Added compatibility with NeoForge 26.2.0.88, including its bundled MixinExtras version.
Compatibility notes
- Use matching Justify API and addon versions on the client and server. Each Minecraft version has its own JARs.
- Minecraft 26.2 requires Java 25 and Fabric with Fabric API, or NeoForge. Beta.129 is the 26.2 release; the separate 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 releases remain Beta.127.
- Shader checks on 26.2 cover Iris 1.11.4, Sodium 0.9.2 and Complementary Reimagined r5.8.1 in OpenGL. Kappa 5.3 can still produce excessive bloom on large models.
- CPU physics and GPU model rendering are separate from the optional CUDA physics package. The optional CUDA memory-budget test was not run for the 26.2 release.
