Just Dire Things [Reforged]

Unofficial Forge 1.18.2 backport of Just Dire Things by Direwolf20. Direwolf20 did not make this port and does not support it. Report bugs here.

Follows 1.21.1 version 1.5.7, plus later changes on the 1.21.1 branch up to August 8, 2026. Started from An0mz's 1.20.1 backport.

Four tiers of resources, tools and armor, each with its own abilities. Plus automation blocks: breakers, placers, sensors, teleporters and generators. The original page has the full rundown and the spotlights.

Changes from 1.21.1

• Dire Smithing Table. 1.18.2's smithing table has no template slot, so this one does the tier upgrades, ability upgrades and Paxels. Craft it from a smithing table and 8 Ferricore ingots.
• Tier 4 goo. 1.18.2 has no sculk, so the default recipe doesn't use it. Set use_sculk_recipes in justdirethings-common.toml to get the original recipes with Wild Backport. Client and server must match.
• Dimension restrictions. The server config can block some features in the dimensions you list.
• Fixes. The Item Collector follows its rotation. Filter slots and the Potion Canister no longer lose items.
• No armor trims.

Requirements

Forge 40.3.6 or newer, on client and server. JEI, Patchouli, Curios and Wild Backport are optional.
