Here is a crash report when I attempted to load this mod. This may be because I tried to load it in 1.16.4.
hello, this is a very lovely mod, I was wondering if I could redo some of the mobs? I can show you my work that I did before, you can DM me on discord my name is "Evo#0589"
In reply to evo_934:
I don't have a lot of information on modding mobs, so I'd appreciate it if you could let me know. I'll send you a DM later.
In reply to tdn415114: wait I didn't specify, I meant texture and model wise
am not a codder but I know some places where u can get help
hi is there gonna be an updated version for 1.16.3
In reply to mintkookiekim:
Yes. That work will be completed soon.
can you rename the mod from "japanese_food_mod" to "Japanese Food Mod"? (Minecraft Version 1.16.1)
In reply to KrolMinecraft:
I didn't realize that's what the name was. I'll fix it.
would you happen to be making a compatibility with pams harvestcraft? the seeds and fish override pams ingredients and dont work in its recipies (i really love this mod btw)
In reply to megamyx:
I will do my best to resolve the compatibility issue as much as possible.
Howdy! I'm having a strange issue where, when I place any of the GUI blocks (presser, salt making cauldron, etc.), their GUIs function properly- however, the blocks cannot be removed. Although they do break when broken, they do not drop an item, and whenever I attempt to place another block where they previously had been, they mysteriously re-appear and the block I had just placed is deleted. Additionally, there is a strange incompatibility with Cooking For Blockheads, wherein if any of the GUI blocks are placed such that they would touch a CFB network block, it will prevent the CFB GUI from opening entirely, even when the blocks from this mod are broken; and, since the blocks from this mod cannot be removed, they will permanently disable that CFB network. Any insight or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I combed my latest.log file for errors, and turned up a great number of results. It seems this mod's GUI blocks are interfering with a large number of my installed mods, particularly those that add their own unique GUIs. Take a look here.
I do quite enjoy this mod- keep up the great work! One thing I found odd was the "Anglerfish" mob, as it is lacking the lures that define all anglerfish. Since machine translation is being used, perhaps the right word is "flounder" or "stargazer fish", as those look much more similar to the mob's model? I would gladly offer my services in localizing the mod, so it is easier for English speakers to understand.
In reply to LemonJamTart:
Thank you for providing us with the error log. I will use this to fix the bug.
For Anglerfish, I chose between "Anglerfish" and "Monkfish", but I recently learned that the latter is the correct translation. I'm relying on machine translation and search, so I'd appreciate it if you could translate it into English.
In reply to tdn415114:
I'd love to localize for you! I'll get on that right away.
In reply to tdn415114:
The localization can be found at this link here.
In reply to LemonJamTart:
Thank you!
hello! i recently downloaded your food mod and it quickly became my favorite. i love it so much and i love the variety of things in brings to minecraft. i have a few questions thought : where do you get wakame, sake, bittern and squid, and how do you use/what is the purpose of the salt making cauldron? thank you!!!
edit : literally right after i posted this i found how to get sake and bittern after days of searching hahahaha
anyways i absolutely love your mod and it is genuinely my favorite and i dont know if it already exists but if you want i could help with a french translation! i think more people should see this mod because it is absolutely amazing and having more languages available would help in that regard!! also i dont know if this is obvious but like i would do it voluntarily like not paid you know. anyways have a great day!!
In reply to pommetier:
I would be very grateful if you could help me translate it into French.
and this mod has a bug i cant make the Acetic Acid Bacteria i allready saw wiki how its make but is was not susseful
In reply to andy900514:
Wakame will not drop in the latest version due to a bug. Also, the probability of finding acetic acid bacteria is set a little low. However, if you have tried 10 times and never found it, it may be a bug.
how can i get the Wakame i cant found them
