Jacob's Audio Tapes

2026.10.27 // Version 0.7.0 // The config and escalation has been reworked to make things easier to tune. The tape now has a Calm setting (how bad things are on a good day) and a Worst setting (how bad it can ever get). Night, darkness, being underground, low health and long sessions push it from Calm towards Worst. Overall Strength is now called Effect Strength and works the same way in both tape mods: value of 1.0 is how the mod is meant to sound and 2.0 is pretty cursed. Heads up: because a few settings were renamed, Effect Strength, Calm, Worst and Menus go back to their defaults once. The presets now set Calm, Worst and Effect Strength too. Also, With Jacob's Video Tapes installed, every rewind wears the shared tape down for good, so the sound gets worse along with the picture - rewind with care! Thank you so much for checking out my mods!
