What's new

Intesa Effect Manager 1.1.0 — Forge 1.20.1

Highlights

  • Added Built-in Presets for common play styles.
  • Added My Presets with local JSON storage and full preset management.
  • Added individual removal of managed effects.
  • Managed effects now return after death and respawn by default in newly generated configurations.
  • Added responsive Presets layouts and improved GUI Scale Auto behavior.
  • Added support for Forge 47.4.10 through 47.4.22 with one JAR.

Added

  • Built-in Presets with contextual Minecraft icons:
    • God Mode
    • Master Miner
    • Mariner
    • Explorer
    • Warrior
    • Builder
    • Nether Traveler
    • Night Hunter
  • My Presets stored locally in:
    • config/intesa_effect_manager/my_presets.json
  • Save Current as Preset
  • Update Existing
  • Save as New
  • Rename, Duplicate, and Delete custom presets
  • Server-authoritative effect blacklist
  • Managed-effect restoration after player death
  • Individual removal of managed effects
  • English and Thai localization for the new interfaces

Changed

  • Managed-effect restoration after death is enabled by default for newly generated server configurations.
  • Server and world owners can disable it with:
    • keepManagedEffectsAfterDeath = false
  • Existing worlds retain their previously saved configuration value.
  • Redesigned Presets into a responsive left-list/right-preview workspace.
  • Added compact preset cards and responsive one-column/two-column effect previews.
  • Improved contextual action grouping and preset-selection synchronization.
  • Improved the Effect Manager viewport when Minecraft GUI Scale is set to Auto.
  • Explicit GUI Scale choices remain unchanged.
  • The production JAR is compiled against Forge 47.4.10 and supports Forge 47.4.10–47.4.22.

Fixed

  • My Preset rendering crashes involving literal user-entered text
  • Save Current as Preset crash
  • Duplicate, Rename, and Delete selection-state inconsistencies
  • My Preset action buttons remaining disabled until switching tabs
  • Intermittent preset deletion and rendering instability
  • Tooltip visibility and truncation behavior
  • GUI Scale Auto pointer, tooltip, scrolling, and clipping alignment

Behavior Notes

  • Loading a preset prepares the Effects editor and does not apply effects immediately.
  • Clear removes only effects managed by Intesa Effect Manager.
  • External command, potion, beacon, and other-mod effects remain untouched.
  • Presets containing blocked or unavailable effects skip those entries safely.
  • The death-restoration setting is an Intesa Effect Manager server configuration, not a Minecraft Game Rule.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Forge 47.4.10–47.4.22
  • Java 17
  • Client and server installation
  • Matching mod version required on client and server

Upgrade Notes

  • Existing worlds and managed-effect data remain compatible.
  • Existing My Presets JSON is preserved.
  • Existing worlds retain their previously saved death-restoration setting.
  • Backing up worlds and configuration before updating is recommended.
