This simple mod will create a static location to store files for screenshots, configuration (modded and vanilla), shaders, resource packs, data packs, replay recordings, etc.. It'll move all the files to the static location on launch and make junctions to redirect the instance local folders to the static folders instead
This mod uses a blacklist and applies to all files not blacklisted, so it'll support basically anything.
(Active Resource Packs will also be synched on load, which may cause a second loading screen on first boot after the first one finishes)
Additionally it also preserves all your vanilla settings between instances by manually saving & loading them via the mod and a custom nbt file stored in the static location for all the files, if you are tired of setting up all your settings again & again- just install this mod on your instances and configure no more!
(Just be sure to load the mod on an instance already configured, that way it doesn't sync everything to an unconfigured instance first)
Keybinds for mods will persistent on that nbt file even while not having those mods present, because this system preserves data untill overriden, so the only way it'll forget a keybind is manual editing or a naming conflict
This is my first clientside mod and also my first time using Intellij (which was needed to make it clientside)
The static location for instance syncing is C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Minecraft
