Description
Infinitum
The power of Avaritia, without the grind of Avaritia.
Infinitum brings the legendary end-game progression of Avaritia to Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge): impossible materials, Singularities, dedicated machines, and gear that quite literally breaks the game — plus a boss worth using it on. The difference is the journey: the recipes have been substantially simplified, so you can reach absolute power without dedicating entire weeks of playtime to compressing millions of blocks.
⚠️ Work in Progress
This mod is under active development and will receive updates.
You may therefore encounter bugs, unexpected behaviour, or balance issues. Some features may change or be rewritten in future versions, and save compatibility between versions is not guaranteed.
If you run into a problem, reporting it genuinely helps: please include the mod version, your NeoForge version, and the crash log if you have one.
How it's simpler than Avaritia
Everything else — items, models, animations, machines, tooltips — is deliberately kept faithful to the original. The simplification lives entirely in the recipes:
| Original Avaritia | Infinitum | |
|---|---|---|
| Neutron Piles | requires a separate collector to be built and fed | the Compressor makes them itself, 1 per second, no ingredients, no power |
| Singularity cost | hundreds of compressed blocks | 64 to 256 ingots (blocks count as 9) |
| Compression chain | Compressed Cobblestone across many tiers | removed entirely |
| Crafting table tiers | Crafting Table → Compressed → Double Compressed → Extreme | Extreme Crafting Table crafted directly |
| Gear recipes | huge patterns filling the 9×9 grid | classic vanilla shapes (sword, pickaxe, axe…) |
The 9×9 Extreme Crafting Table itself is unchanged — your recipes just don't need to fill it.
The progression
- Diamond Lattice → Crystal Matrix Ingot
- Neutronium Compressor — condenses the diffuse matter of sunlight and darkness into Neutron Piles, on its own, with no ingredients and no power
- Neutron Pile → Neutron Nugget → Neutronium Ingot
- Singularity Condenser — feed it iron, copper, gold, lapis, redstone, quartz, diamond, emerald, amethyst or netherite and get the matching Singularity (10 types). This is the only way to obtain them: they have no crafting recipe.
- Infinity Singularity — crafted in the Extreme Crafting Table by combining one of each of the other ten
- Infinity Ingot
- Infinity Catalyst — the most valuable item in the mod: one is required in every recipe for weapons, tools, armor and the bow
Machines & storage
- Neutronium Compressor — continuous autonomous production, with an indicator showing the active source (sunlight or darkness) and a running total
- Singularity Condenser — devours materials to condense them into Singularities, with a live progress counter
- Extreme Crafting Table — the 9×9 grid for the impossible recipes
- Infinity Chest — 300 slots (12 rows × 25 columns), each holding up to 4096 items, with an animated lid
- Storage blocks for Crystal Matrix, Neutronium and Infinity, with reversible 9↔1 recipes
All of them have their own themed GUI, in-game tooltips, and can be broken with any tool and picked back up.
Gear
Weapons and tools — Sword of the Cosmos, Katar of Slashing, Longbow of the Heavens, World Breaker, Hammer of Notch, Nature's Ruin, Planet Eater, Hoe of the Green Earth, plus the Skullfire Sword.
- Infinite damage: anything dies in one hit, through a dedicated damage type that ignores every protection
- No durability: nothing ever breaks
- Instant mining on any block
- The pickaxe auto-enchants with Fortune X, and switches to Hammer mode with shift + right-click to shatter a wide area
- The bow needs no arrows, fires rapidly, and — if you hold the draw for over a second — looses a volley of 24 arrows in a wide fan
- The Skullfire Sword ignites its targets and guarantees the skull from Wither Skeletons
Infinity Armor — every piece grants powers on its own:
| Piece | Powers |
|---|---|
| Helmet | night vision, endless air, hunger and saturation always full |
| Chestplate | flight, continuous cleansing of harmful effects |
| Leggings | extinguishes fire, clears freezing |
| Boots | step assist, movement speed boost |
| Full set | total invulnerability — only Infinity weapons can hurt you |
Two players in full sets can still duel: Infinity weapons deal reduced damage to them instead of nothing at all.
The Endest Pearl
Throw it and it opens a black hole where it lands: for several seconds it drags in and disintegrates everything around it — entities, items, terrain. Anyone wearing the full Infinity set is immune.
It is also an ingredient in several late-game recipes, including the Extreme Crafting Table and the Infinity Chest.
Boss: the Cosmic Guardian
Once you are invulnerable and flying, what's left to fight? This is the answer.
Summon it with the Seal of the Guardian and you face something built specifically to threaten a fully equipped player:
- 1024 HP, with a boss bar
- It attacks with the same Infinity damage type as your gear, so the full set does not protect you from it
- It defends symmetrically: ordinary weapons barely scratch it, and even "infinite" damage is capped per hit — this is a real fight, not a single click
- Shockwave every few seconds: area damage and knockback
- It wields the Endest Pearl, hurling black holes at you — two at a time below half health
- Drops 2 Infinity Catalysts and an Infinity Singularity
Extras
- Config file — over 20 options across armor, gear, bow, machines, the Endest Pearl and the boss. Flight, invulnerability, infinite damage, production speed, Singularity cost, black-hole terrain damage and boss stats can all be tuned or disabled, which makes the mod safe to put in a modpack or on a server.
- JEI support — a dedicated category for the 9×9 grid, with one-click automatic ingredient transfer
- Ceremony — crafting a key item triggers a pillar of light, sound and a server-wide announcement; completing the full armor set announces itself too
- Mod compatibility — chest, compressor and condenser expose their inventories, so pipes, conduits, AE2 and mods like Crafting Station Multitier can see inside them
- Custom cosmic shader on the sword, katar, bow and armor. This is one of the newest features and is still being tuned — how it looks may change in future updates, and feedback on it is very welcome
- Extreme food: Cosmic Meatballs and Ultimate Stew
- Full English and Italian translations
