Description

Spin the wheel. Win a mob. Watch them fight.
Then go out and hunt 163 new creatures across 22 themed biomes, raise them as companions,

- ๐ฅ Parties: team up with up to 6 players to share kills, loot, eggs and unlocks.
- ๐ Mob Index: a Pokรฉdex-style book with 3D models, stats, abilities, drop rates and where to find every mob.

๐ก The Wheel & the Arena
Place the InfiniteVersus Wheel, pick a game mode and a team size (1 to 5 mobs), then take turns spinning. The rarity the wheel lands on gives you a fighter of that rarity. Hover its name in chat to see its 3D model, health, damage, chance and special ability.
Once both teams are full, everyone is teleported to an arena in its own dimension (as spectators). A VS screen introduces the fighters, a countdown starts... and the mobs fight it out!

- Under each mob's health bar: damage dealt, damage taken and kills, live.
- The fight ends when a team is wiped out, or after 3 minutes (the team with the most health left wins).
- The results screen shows every mob's stats, team totals, the best fighter and the fight duration.
- Anyone who clicks the wheel of a running match can watch it as a spectator.
Game modes
| Mode | How it works |
|---|---|
| PVE | You against the computer. The match starts right away. |
| PVP | Every player on the server gets an invitation with the wheel's position. The first to click it is your opponent. |
| Tournament | 2 to 16 entrants (real players + bots). Double elimination, simultaneous matches in separate arenas, a grand final and a bracket reset if needed. Bot vs bot matches are played too, and you can watch them. |
Rarities

| Rarity | Chance | Vanilla fighters | Mod fighters |
|---|---|---|---|
| โฌ Common | 44.9 % | 5 | 35 |
| ๐ฉ Uncommon | 24.9 % | 3 | 31 |
| ๐ฆ Rare | 15.0 % | 3 | 28 |
| ๐จ Legendary | 9.0 % | 2 | 27 |
| ๐ช Mythic | 5.0 % | 2 | 22 |
| โฌ Secret | 1.0 % | 1 (Warden) | 9 |
| ๐ Infinite | 0.25 % | โ | Infinitus + the 10 realm bosses |
179 fighters in total. The Infinite slice is painted in animated rainbow, and landing on it triggers thunder and a shower of particles.
Unlocking mobs
- In Survival, the wheel only gives you the 16 vanilla fighters plus the mod mobs you have defeated in the world. You unlock a mob by killing it, or by dealing at least 10 % of its health in a group fight (everyone who helped unlocks it).
- In Creative, every mob is available.
- The computer and tournament bots draw from the mobs unlocked by the players in the match.
So the mini-game and the adventure feed each other: explore to unlock, unlock to win.
Combat Record & stats
Every player keeps their stats: wins and losses in PVE, PVP and tournaments, draws, tournaments won, damage, kills and best mob.
Right-click a player with the Combat Record to see theirs, or right-click the air to see yours (or use /iv stats [player]).

๐ 163 new mobs

Every mob has a custom model, animations and a special ability: charges, leaps, fire breath, chain lightning, summons, life drain, petrifying gaze, illusions, tentacles that pull you in, a phoenix that is reborn from its ashes... Flying creatures glide above the ground and move like everyone else.
Outside the arena, they live in the world:
- 99 monsters spawn at night or in the dark (and during the day, half as often) and attack on sight.
- 33 neutral creatures spawn during the day like animals and only fight back when hit.
- Legendary, mythic and secret mobs are real bosses, and much rarer.
- 20 realm mobs live only in the lands of the ten realms, and the 10 realm bosses wait in their arenas.
- Spawns are kept reasonable: a cap of mobs around each player, few duplicates, small groups, and a shorter aggro range (12 blocks) than vanilla.

๐ The Mob Index

A Pokรฉdex-style book you get when you first join (and get back on respawn if you lose it):
- every fighter numbered #001 to #179, with search and filters (All / Obtained / Missing / by rarity);
- a rotating 3D model, rarity, chance, health, damage and special ability;
- where to find it: its biomes, from most to least common, with real spawn rates read from the server (datapacks included);
- its loot table with exact drop chances;
- how many times you got it from the wheel. Mobs you have not unlocked yet show as a mysterious silhouette.

๐ 22 themed biomes

- Themed biomes form large regions (about 1,000 blocks wide), always separated by vanilla biomes, and pick the theme that fits the local climate (Pharaoh Dunes in deserts, Eternal Tundra in the cold...). About 39 % of land is themed.
- They generate in new worlds and in unexplored chunks of existing worlds.
- Rare mobs are much more common in their home biome: the best place to hunt a boss.
- Find them with
/locate biome infiniteversus:<biome>or, without commands, with the Biome Locator: pick any biome in a searchable list and its needle points to the nearest one.

๐ฐ Structures, villages and chests
Each themed biome has 14 kinds of structures in its own colors, guarded by its mob family: 308 structures, plus a ruin and a vault in each of the ten realms (328 in total).
| Structure | What's inside |
|---|---|
| Outpost | A small themed building, 3 guards and a chest |
| Boss Dungeon | A 23ร23 sanctuary with towers, 4 guards and a boss on the central dais, with two treasure chests |
| Ruin / Camp / Monument | Half-collapsed houses, tent camps, landmark obelisks |
| Watchtower / Shrine / Abandoned Farm / Ruined Library / Mine Entrance | Exploration loot, enchanted books, seeds, ores |
| Lair / Vault / Arena | A rare mob guards a locked chest |
| Wonder (one per biome, rare) | A giant landmark guarded by the family's mythic or secret boss, with the best loot: a giant fairy tree, a clock tower, a sphinx, an ice palace, a lighthouse, a candy castle, a giant geode, a drakkar... |

- Themed villages for every surface biome: houses in the biome's wood and stone, villagers dressed in its colors, and a new Biome Merchant who sells its saplings, blocks and liquid, and even companion eggs at higher levels. Mod mobs never spawn inside a mod village.
- Per-player loot: every structure chest (mod and vanilla!) has its own loot for each player. No more empty chests on servers.
- Guarded chests won't open while their guardian is alive: the guardian glows through walls and a trail of sparks leads you to it. Once it's dead, only the players who fought it can open the chest.
- Guardians come back: legendary, mythic and secret guardians return after 20, 40 or 60 minutes of world time. A floating timer above the structure shows when. They come back at full health with the same gear, and the chests refill with a new roll for everyone. Structures generated before this update get timers too.

๐ฅ Companions
Every mod mob (bosses included!) can become your companion.

- Get an egg: each player who helped kill a mod mob has a 10 % chance to get its egg (reserved for them).
- Hatch it in an Incubator: from 10 minutes (common) to 2 hours (secret). Time passes even when you are far away.
- Build your team in the Companions tab of the Mob Index: a team of 6 and an unlimited reserve. Summon them one by one or all at once.
- They follow and fight for you, never hurt players, glow in your color and wear your name.
- Ride them! Right-click to mount. Flying companions (griffin, wyvern, celestial dragon...) really fly, and the rarer they are, the faster they go (up to ~14 blocks/s for a secret mob). The Fire Drake spreads its wings when ridden.
- Knocked out? Put them in a Healing Station: 6 slots, they heal even while you're away.
The Egg Bag stores an unlimited number of eggs, picks them up automatically and lists them from rarest to most common.

๐ Loot and boss relics
- Every mod mob has its own themed loot table. The rarer the mob, the better: bosses drop diamonds, totems, netherite scraps, elytras...
- Shared fights, fair loot: the killer and every player who dealt at least 10 % of the mob's health each get their own roll. Each player's drops are reserved for them, glow in their color and carry their name. Party members nearby count as having fought too.
- Unclaimed mob loot (reserved or not, bosses included) disappears after 10 minutes, even if the chunk is unloaded.
- Each of the 38 boss mobs + the Warden has a unique relic (1 in 4 drop chance), and each of the 10 realm bosses gives its relic to every participant. Every relic has a passive bonus while held and a right-click power with a cooldown.

๐ A few relics
| Relic | Passive | Right-click |
|---|---|---|
| Minotaur's Axe | Stronger knockback | Charge: dash forward and toss enemies |
| Vampire Dagger | Each hit heals 1 heart | Shadow step: appear behind your target |
| Necromancer's Grimoire | Immune to Wither | Raise 2 ghouls that fight for you |
| Thunder Feather | Speed | Lightning strikes the 3 nearest enemies |
| Phoenix Feather | Revives you instead of dying (every 5 min) | 3 fireballs in a fan |
| Celestial Pearl | Higher jumps, slower falls | Heal 30 %, cleanse, Resistance II |
| Reaper's Scythe | Your hits wither | Soul harvest: damage around you and heal per enemy |
| Warden's Heart | Immune to Darkness | Sonic boom: 15-block beam that ignores armor |
...and 41 more, all visible in the Mob Index on their boss's page.
๐ Relic Holster

Relics take room, so craft a Relic Holster: it stores up to 10 relics.
- Drop a relic on the holster in your inventory to store it, or right-click the holster and press Store relics to put them all away.
- Bind the Relic wheel key (Options > Controls, no default key) and hold it: a radial wheel shows your relics. Aim at one and release to put it in your off hand; the relic you were holding goes back into the holster.
- Hover a relic on the wheel to see whether its power is still recharging.

๐ The Infinity and the final boss
The ultimate challenge: gather the relics of the 10 secret bosses, open the rift, and defeat Infinitus.

- Craft the Infinity Altar and place it with 2 blocks of air above.
- Right-click it with each of the 10 secret relics (Warden, Skeleton King, Hydra, Phoenix, Fenrir, Celestial Dragon, Fairy Queen, Grim Reaper, Seraph, Jรถrmungandr). They float in a circle above the altar. You don't lose them: sneak + right-click with an empty hand takes them all back.
- At 10/10 the altar awakens and an Infinity Rift opens. Step in.
- Welcome to the Infinity: floating islands under a starry purple sky, with 4 new biomes (Astral Meadows, Crystal Expanse, Shattered Realms, Void Wastes) and new blocks.
- Follow the bridge of light to the Sanctum, where Infinitus sleeps on his throne, protected by 10 soul crystals.
Infinitus: 1,000 HP, 3 phases, 13 attacks borrowed from the secret bosses (scythe sweeps, a ring of royal blades, star breath, venom rain, pillars of light, a black hole, a meteor storm, a sonic scream...). Break the soul crystals first: each one absorbs part of the damage.
Defeat him and every participant receives the Infinity Chestplate:
- netherite-level protection, unbreakable and enchantable;
- creative-style flight in Survival (double jump);
- no fall damage;
- Infinitus's crystal wings on your back, folding and flapping as you move.
Place a Nether Star on the throne to summon him again. Infinitus also joins your wheel as the one and only Infinite fighter.

๐ The Ten Realms
Infinitus is not the end: his defeat opens the road to ten realms, ten new dimensions, each guarded by a boss. Every boss drops the key to the next realm, all the way to the tenth: the Architect's Workshop, home of the one who drew the wheel.

Keys, altar and rifts
- Infinitus drops Rift Key #1 to every player who took part in the fight. Each realm boss then drops the next key.
- Once Infinitus is defeated, a Rift Altar appears in his Sanctum (in existing worlds too). You can also craft one to build your own nexus.
- Right-click the altar with a key: a 2-block rift opens above it. The key is not consumed.
- Sneak + right-click with an empty hand opens the altar's menu: click any realm you have unlocked to open its rift, no key needed.
- You arrive on a platform south of the arena. When the boss falls, two rifts open: the way back, and the next realm.

A realm
Every realm floats in a vast void: an arena in the center, the arrival platform to the south, and the realm's lands beyond a bridge. Each one has:
- three biomes plus its heart, with their own blocks, sky, fog and particles;
- two new mobs (one legendary, one mythic), which also join the wheel and can become companions;
- a ruin with free chests and a vault whose chests are guarded by the mythic mob;
- a three-phase boss with its own mechanic, a boss bar and its own fight music;
- an advancement and a title.
Bosses sleep in the middle of their arena until a Survival player comes near. Once defeated, a Nether Star on the seal at the center of the arena calls them back.
โ๏ธ The ten realms and their bosses
| # | Realm | Biomes | Boss (HP) | Mechanic | Mobs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Chronosphere | Sands of Time, Gear Plains, Stilled Oasis | The Chronarch (1,200) | The arena is a dial: jump over the sweeping hands. Every 20 s he rewinds his health to 10 s earlier, unless the 4 hourglass pylons are broken. | Living Hourglass, Time Echo |
| 2 | Oniria | Cloud Isles, Cotton Woods, Starfield | Morpheus (1,400) | Switches between Dream (you float) and Nightmare (darkness, shadows). From phase 2, illusions: only the real one leaves a shadow trail. | Dream Sheep, Nightmare |
| 3 | Primordial Abyss | Coral Atolls, Kelp Depths, Luminous Trenches | Ancestral Leviathan (1,600) | Swims in the atoll's lagoon. His leap strands him for 3 s, and he takes 50 % more damage. Undertow, whirlpool, tsunami. | Abyssal Lantern Angler, Abyssal Siren |
| 4 | Titans' Forge | Basalt Plains, Molten Rivers, Anvil Fields | Hephaestus (1,800) | 4 bellows each absorb 20 % of the damage: burst them. Lava rises between phases. Metal rain, anvils, eruption. | Animated Anvil, Forge Salamander |
| 5 | Yggdrasil | Root Lands, Giant Canopy, Firefly Glades | Root Mother (2,000) | Rooted in place, her bark halves every hit. Shoot the 4 glowing fruits with a bow to expose her. | Sylvan Stag, Sporeling |
| 6 | Realm of Reflections | Glass Plains, Shard Fields, Mirror Lakes | The Reflection (2,200) | Reflects projectiles and copies your weapon and armor. In phase 2 it hides in six mirrors: only the real one sparkles. | Mirror Shard, Glass Puppet |
| 7 | Absolute Zero | Ink Glaciers, Aurora Tundra, Frozen Lakes | The Winter Queen (2,400) | The cold rises: stay near the 4 braziers. Her blizzard blows them out, so light them again. Jump over the aurora beam. | Living Aurora, Black Ice Sentinel |
| 8 | Necropolis of the Gods | Statue Fields, Mist Moors, River of Souls | Thanatos (2,600) | His Balance of Souls: hit too hard, too fast, and everyone loses 4 max health. Break the urn to get it back. | Soul Lantern, Ferryman |
| 9 | Eternal Tempest | Storm Isles, Copper Crags, Gale Steppe | Fulgurion (2,800) | A storm shield protects him: charge one of the 4 lightning rods and his own lightning stuns him. Gusts push you toward the void. | Thunder Ray, Wind Djinn |
| 10 | The Architect's Workshop | Blueprint Plains, Wireframe Wastes, Drifting Fragments | The Architect (3,000) | The arena is the wheel: he spins it, and the slice under the north pointer picks his attack (a second pointer in phase 3). His eraser wipes out the floor, and he summons echoes of the other bosses. | Sketch, Eraser |

Rewards
Every player who took part (at least 10 % of the boss's health, or the killing blow) gets, reserved for them: the next key, the boss's relic, its Transcendent gear piece, and sometimes (5 %) its egg. They also earn the realm's advancement and title.
๐ Realm relics and Transcendent gear
| Boss | Relic (right-click power) | Transcendent gear |
|---|---|---|
| The Chronarch | Chronarch's Hourglass: go back to where you were 5 s ago, with that moment's health | Boots of Time: +20 % speed, projectiles slow down near you |
| Morpheus | Dreamcatcher: three illusory dream sheep draw enemies away | Blade of Dreams: puts the target to sleep for 1.5 s |
| Ancestral Leviathan | Heart of the Leviathan: a tidal wave pushes back enemies within 8 blocks | Abyssal Trident: Riptide out of water and without rain |
| Hephaestus | Forge Ember: repairs a quarter of your gear, then a fire aura | Forge Hammer: mines 3ร3 and sets targets on fire |
| Root Mother | Yggdrasil Seed: a tree of life heals allies for 10 s | Sap Bow: arrows root the target |
| The Reflection | Reflection Shard: 4 s of mirror guard (attackers take the hit) | Mirror Shield: reflects projectiles and 30 % of blocked hits |
| The Winter Queen | Absolute Zero Crystal: freezes enemies within 12 blocks for 3 s | Boreal Leggings: immune to freezing, water freezes under your feet |
| Thanatos | Charon's Obol: the marked target takes 50 % more damage; if it dies, full heal | Ferryman's Blade: life steal |
| Fulgurion | Eye of the Storm: chain lightning on 6 enemies | Thunder Crossbow: bolts call down lightning |
| The Architect | Architect's Die: roll a six-sided die of buffs (and on a six, all of them) | Architect's Crown: Night Vision and Haste II |
The ten relics fill the Relic Holster exactly. Transcendent pieces are unbreakable and enchantable, with netherite-level stats.
Transcendent set: wear the Architect's Crown, the Infinity Chestplate, the Boreal Leggings and the Boots of Time together for Resistance I, Regeneration I and a rainbow aura.
Titles
- Each boss unlocks a title: Timekeeper, the Awakened, Abyss Tamer, Titan-Forged, Rootwarden, the Unreflected, Frostheart, Soulferrier, Stormbringer, Worldbuilder.
/iv titlelists your titles,/iv title <title>wears one (in front of your name, in chat and in the player list),/iv title noneremoves it.- Defeat all ten to earn the final advancement "Transcendent" and the title "the Transcendent".
๐ฅ Parties

Playing with friends? Form a party of up to 6 players. Every member within 64 blocks (same dimension, alive) counts as having fought with you:
- each one unlocks the mob for their wheel;
- each one gets their own reserved loot roll and their own egg chance;
- each one can open the guarded chests of the structure;
- each one receives the realm boss rewards (key, relic, Transcendent gear, title).
Open the party screen with the Party button in your inventory (next to the recipe book) or with /iv party: your members (โ
marks the leader, who can kick or hand over the lead), your invitations, and the online players you can invite.
Invitations last 1 minute and can also be accepted from chat. The party is saved with the world.

๐ Getting started (tutorial)
1. Craft the Wheel. You also get a Mob Index when you first join.

2. Place it and right-click it. Choose PVE, PVP or Tournament and the number of mobs per team (1 to 5), then press Start!

3. Spin! Right-click the wheel when it's your turn (the computer spins on its own; if you wait more than 20 s, the wheel spins for you).
4. Watch the fight. Sit back and cheer. When it's over, sneak to come back right away, or wait 15 seconds.
5. Go hunting. In Survival your wheel starts with the 16 vanilla fighters. Explore the themed biomes, defeat new mobs and they join your wheel. Open the Mob Index to see where each mob lives.
6. Grow stronger. Collect eggs, hatch companions, loot structures and hunt bosses for their relics.
7. Reach the Infinity. Gather the 10 secret relics, craft the altar and face Infinitus.
8. Cross the ten realms. Infinitus drops the first Rift Key: use it on the Rift Altar that appears in his Sanctum.
๐ก The game won't start on Peaceful difficulty (monsters despawn there).

๐ฆ Installation
- Install Fabric Loader (0.19.5 or newer) for Minecraft 26.3.
- Download Fabric API and put it in your
modsfolder. - Put InfiniteVersus in your
modsfolder. - Requires Java 25.
The mod is needed on both the client and the server.
โ FAQ
Can I use it in an existing world? Yes. Themed biomes and structures generate in chunks you haven't explored yet. Guardians of structures that already exist get respawn timers, and if Infinitus is already defeated, the Rift Altar appears in his Sanctum.
Does it work on servers? Yes, and it's designed for it: parties, PVP duels, tournaments, shared loot, per-player chests and shared waystones.
There are too many / not enough mobs!
Use /iv spawns (or the game rules above) to tune the spawn rates, globally or per rarity.
Is there a world to preview all the mobs? Yes: create a world with the "InfiniteVersus: Mob Gallery" world type. Every mod mob is lined up by rarity, frozen and invulnerable. Right-click one to see its stats.
Forge / NeoForge? Fabric only for now.
Have fun, and may the wheel be with you! ๐ก
